<br />F-7 <br />L <br /> <br />MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO AT THE CITY <br />NAT,L ON NOVEMBER 25' 1958 - - - - 8:00 P.X. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sipe at 8s00 P.M. <br />Ro.ll call was taken, <br />Present: T. Sipe, A. Grumney9 Mayor Gareau9 Service Director Barn.es' <br />Building Commissioner Gundy, Engineer Kanareff <br />Absent: R. Taylor, Mra C. Haettich <br />Minutes of the meeting of October 28th were read by Secretary Grumneyo <br />Motion for approval wa.s made by Mr. Sipe9 seconded by Mr. Barnes, voted <br />upon and approved by commissione <br />Minutes of the meeting of November llth were read by Secretary Gsumney. <br />Motion was made by Mayor Gareau for approval, seconded by Ntr. Barnes, voted <br />upon and approved by the commission. <br />Old Business: <br />Suburbanite Homes Inc. sanitary sewage (BreezeUaood paekage plant located <br />in Olmsted Township.. Item 29 from Novo 11 minutes? <br />Summary of discussion: There would be the problem of assessing on Terrace <br />plus the two proposed streets. <br />If sewer lines were to eventually tie into North Olmsted sewer, the flow <br />would be in the wrong direction. <br />In Mr. Kanareffas opinion, owners could not be assessed for North Olmsted <br />trunk sewers and rental rateo <br />[aTho has the responsibility of maintaining plant and lines? <br />How will they be assessed for mainten.ance and service? <br />Could we compel tlzese homeowners to tie into our sewage works since they <br />already have approved sewer? <br />Would seller be agreeable to sell with easement stipulating that egentually <br />they would have to tie into North Olmsted's sewer? (Mro Morley £eels this <br />might hamper sale of homes) <br />Could they use septic tanks as long as they have city water?:' <br />Since Suburbanite Homes9 Inc. has over $20,000 in.vested in the package <br />plant tliey probably would not want to install septic tanks. <br />If this is approved there will be an area for voting against North Olmsted <br />sewers. <br />Can we legally stop them from tying into the package plant? <br />To help the individual out9 YLr. Kanareff suggested that we make up a list <br />of the problems and have Suburbanite Homes, Inc. come up with the answers. <br />It was decided to hold the discussion for a future meeting. <br />New Business: <br />Item 1. Nlr. Bob Krause of John R. Cloyd and Associates resubmitted a plat <br />of Beverly Hills development. (Refer to minutes of October 28th) <br />10,974 square feet, <br />Previously lot numbers 28 and 23 had an insufficient area for a <br />AA zone. Lot number 28 now has 11, 197 square f eet and lot number 23 has <br />- 1 -
