REGULAR P7EETING OF ZONING BOARD <br />OI' APPEALS HELD AT THE <br />CITY HAI;L <br />April 4, 1960 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Willard Klinite' <br />Vice Chairman. <br />Members Presen.t: Edward Byers' Willard Klinite and Lloyd Morgano <br />Members Absentz Eddie Hixson and William Greene <br />Also Present: Ernest J. Gundy, Building Commissioner <br />The minutes of the March lst meeting were approved as reado <br />The fol.lowing appeals taere hearda <br />1. Appellant - George C. Bittner <br />6013 South Porter Road <br />Permission was requested for construction of a garage only 3 feet <br />from the side property lineo A letter approving the garage location was <br />presented from the neighbor n.earest the proposed location. It was moved <br />by Mr. Morganm seeonded by Mr. Byers, to approve the variancea "Yeas" - <br />Byers, Klinite and Morgan. "Nays" - none. The requested variance was <br />approvedm . <br />2. Appellant - Mr. Wolfe' 4420 Coe Avenue <br />An existing 4 feet high fence extends 26 f eet beyond the front <br />building line. Mr. Wo1fe appealecl from an order by the Building Com- <br />missioner to reduce the fence height to the 30 ineh maximum permitted <br />heights Mr. Wolfe stated that the neighbor adjacent to the fence approved <br />the fence as it i5 constructed. <br />liction was deferred until the regular May meeting. <br />3o dppellant - John Leech, 27723 Lorain Road <br />Perma.ssion was requested for hanging a sign from the side of the <br />building. This sign would overhang the public sidewalk. The proper-Ey <br />is older business property and was constructed on the property line with <br />no set-back. It was moved by Nlr. Bgers9 seaonded by Mr. Morgan, to <br />approee the variancem "Yeas" - Byers' K1i.nite and Morgan. "Nays" - None. <br />The variance was approved. <br />4. Appellant A Waltex J. Sasse' 27100 Lorain Roado <br />Mr. Sasse requested permission to convert a part of his business property <br />for the carry-out sale of spiritous beverages and related merchandise. A <br />public hearing was set for 8;00 P.M. on gpril 199 1960. <br />5. Appellant - 00 G. Schxieider' 1409 W, Schaaf Road' Cleveland 99 Ohio. <br />Proposed eonstruction of a house with"only 22 feet of the required 25 <br />feet sideline set-back.
