. dr' Board of Zoning Appeals - 2- May 3, 1961 Mr. Clarence Oviatt, City Solicitor, informed the Board and the appellant that Council had just ruled that the appeilant shall have no further building permits whatsoever until he has complied wifih a previows order. It was moved by Mr. Byers and seconded by Mr. Smith that the variance be granted on the basis of past precedent for just the one lot only and a bwilding permit be issued the appellant when he has complied wifih Council's ruling. Messrs. Byers,Klinite, and Smith voted affirmative; Mr. Morgan voted negative. The motion was carried. 4. Appeilant: Neil E. Bennett - 25777 Yeoman Drive Westlake, Ohio The appellant (President of the Columbia Estates Subdivision) requested a 5-foot variance in the side yard footage of each of the 30 tots in the entire subdivision on Palm Drive in North Olmsted. After considerable discussion, the appellant withdrew his appeal. 5. Appellant: H. F. Wiese - 30033 Lorain Road North Olmsted, Ohio Tbe appellant requested hearings on the following two situations: 1. Signs or signboards now located at the Forest Ridge entorance on Lorain Road. 2. Parking of tracter trailers on front property between Sterns and Barton Roads on the south side of Lorain Road. The Board considered the appeal and a letter.is to be written to the appellant (copy of which is attached) explaining that: i. The signs or segnboards at the entrance to Forest Ridge are in conformity to development purposes and are only on a temporary basis. 2. Investigation has been made and dt has been determined that the parking of tractor trailers on Lorain Road is a legal usage of this particular property, which was in existance previous to the presen.t zoning ordinance which was published in 1957. It wouDd be impossible for this usage fio expand into other areas because of the present zoning ordinance. The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. Willard Klinite, Chairman Lloyd Morgan, Secretary
