. <br />dr' <br />Board of Zoning Appeals - 2- May 3, 1961 <br />Mr. Clarence Oviatt, City Solicitor, informed the Board and the appellant <br />that Council had just ruled that the appeilant shall have no further building <br />permits whatsoever until he has complied wifih a previows order. <br />It was moved by Mr. Byers and seconded by Mr. Smith that the variance be <br />granted on the basis of past precedent for just the one lot only and a <br />bwilding permit be issued the appellant when he has complied wifih Council's <br />ruling. Messrs. Byers,Klinite, and Smith voted affirmative; Mr. Morgan <br />voted negative. The motion was carried. <br />4. Appeilant: Neil E. Bennett - 25777 Yeoman Drive <br />Westlake, Ohio <br />The appellant (President of the Columbia Estates Subdivision) requested a <br />5-foot variance in the side yard footage of each of the 30 tots in the <br />entire subdivision on Palm Drive in North Olmsted. <br />After considerable discussion, the appellant withdrew his appeal. <br />5. Appellant: H. F. Wiese - 30033 Lorain Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />Tbe appellant requested hearings on the following two situations: <br />1. Signs or signboards now located at the Forest Ridge <br />entorance on Lorain Road. <br />2. Parking of tracter trailers on front property between <br />Sterns and Barton Roads on the south side of Lorain Road. <br />The Board considered the appeal and a letter.is to be written to the <br />appellant (copy of which is attached) explaining that: <br />i. The signs or segnboards at the entrance to Forest <br />Ridge are in conformity to development purposes and are <br />only on a temporary basis. <br />2. Investigation has been made and dt has been determined <br />that the parking of tractor trailers on Lorain Road is a <br />legal usage of this particular property, which was in <br />existance previous to the presen.t zoning ordinance which <br />was published in 1957. It wouDd be impossible for this <br />usage fio expand into other areas because of the present <br />zoning ordinance. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />Willard Klinite, Chairman Lloyd Morgan, Secretary
