MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE, PLANNING COiNI'i`ZISSION ClTY OF NORTH OL:IZSTED - MAY 12, 1962 Present: Leslie B. Macs, Anthony T. LaPonza, Absent: Donald T. Ford, Ballard W. Vincent, Also °resent: Alexander Kanareff, City Engin, The meeting was called to order at 10:05 A.M. The minutes of the previous meeting were read corrected. CARL IMISSEL PROPOSED SUBDIVISION Joseph P. Kadylak, Richard C. P2ongello. Tltomas Stack. aer. z by gice Chairman Macs. by P'Ir. Mongello and approved as Mr. Williarn J. Haclrntan, Mr. Colner, and Mr. Bennett, of Dover Road, were present at the meeting to protest the building of a home on the lot on Dover Center P,oad. They were advised to go bef'ore the Zoning Board of Anpeals and that the Planning Commission would adviso the Building Comraissioner to hold up permits until the Zoni.ng Board acts on this matter. RFNYU A subdivision was presented for the West 230th Street-Alexander Road area. It was moved by Mr. LaPonza., seconded by 14r. Mongello, to hold any action in abeyance until Mr. Renyu appeaz•s at the meeting personall,y. YEAS LaPonza' Mongello' Kadylak' Macs. KADAR SUBDIVISION PROPOSED It was moved by 14r. Kadylak, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, to hold this subdivision in abeyance until further progress is made on the storm, sewer system in that area and then it should be re-presented, because the setrer system in that area cannot carry an additional 553 units at the present time. YEAS Kad,ylak, LaPonza, Macs, Mongello. 14lADOW SITBDIj71SI0N - DEERFIELD ESTATES Earl Linden" - Bob Madow, and Joe Lombardo were present at the meeting in regard to this subdivision. They have agreed to almost all of the requests and recommendations of the Commission, which include building a garage with their model horle on Walter Road. They have also agreed to build 2 new models which would have a higher sales price. The plans f'or these are not completed yet, but they have plans to Uuild a split level with attached garage and a bi-level, on Deerf'ield, and will submit plans for these. This will include bricic around the i'oundationo Discussion ensued relative to the gas meter being in front of the homes, and it was stated that they are going to put the gas meters on the side of the homes. It was moved by Mr. Kadylak, seconded by Mr. ZaPonza, to approve the improve- ment plans on the condition that the plans for the subdivision be presented at the next meeting.
