(?i#g of N.axt4 MXras#rb, (041'0
CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
SPECIAL MEETING HELD AT THE CITY HALL
MAY 21, 1963
Meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M.
Members Present: Messrs. Byers, Greene, Klinite, Morgan
Members Absent: Mr. Smith
Also Present: Mro Ernest J. Gundy, Building Commissioner
and others as listed under "Appellants".
Minutes of May 8th, 1963 were read and amended, as indicated in
minutes which were inserted in book.
1. Appellant: Mr. Kenneth Holmok, 25747 Bufiternut Ridge Road
North Olmsted, Ohio Present at Meeting:

Mr. & Mrs, Alex Toth, 25717 Butternut
Ridge Road, North Olmsted, Ohio
Mrs. L. J. Smallsreed, 25755 Butternut
Ridge Road, North Olmsted, Ohio
Mr. Schultz, 25655 Butternut Ridge Road,
North Olmsted, Ohio
also other interested neighbors.
Reference: Erection of stable at 25757 Butternut.Ridge
Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, Proposed structure would be in violation of present Zoning Ord., Chapter
1151.04, Par. "E", Page 33.
Although appellant was not present at the hearing, the appeal which he
had filed was read orally by the Chairman of the Board. In his statement
appellant requested permission to erect a stable which would be located
155' from the nearest neighbor, rather than 200' as stipulated in the
Zoning Ordinance. Appellant originally purchased the property with the
intention of constructing a stable and claimed he did not have knowledge
of a restriction relative to location at that time.
Mr. Alex Toth advised the Board that he was strictly opposed to the erection
of the stable and requested that the appeal be denied. It was Mr. Toth's
opinion that valuation of the property would be reduced. He further con-
tended that odors would be objectionable and rats would infest the area.
Mrs. Smallsreed and Mro Schultz also went on record as being opposed to
the appeal and requested that same be denied.
