Gundy, Building Coirmiissioner, submitted a request for variance of <br />Section 1174e02, Ord. #62-33, which noVr reads as follows: <br />"Se-tback Regulations - <br />In a Retail Business District the building setback shall be at <br />least twenty-five (25) feet from the street line. Ido structure shall7be <br />maintained., goods or merchandise displayed or ary business activity con- <br />ducted within the setback areaQ The area may be used for parking purposes." <br />Variance is to state that automobil.es may be permitted to be displayed for <br />sale within the twenty-five (25) feet setback line provided no naked <br />incandescent bulbs are used for lighting purposes within this areao <br />ilr. Gundy stated that na.ked incandescent bulbs lighting these parking areas <br />have proved to be a traffic hazard and a nuisance t o t he City. <br />Mr. Cfundyfs department will submit a letter to.A,uto Fair, Inc., 25870 Lorain <br />Road, N. Olmsted, Q. advising tha-t their naked bulbs must be movetl back of <br />the 251 set back line. <br />Volkswagon, a1so, will be advised to keep bulbs back of the 254. <br />0 <br />N1rs.
