Masonic Temple taho had delegated him to represent them9 felt there were too <br />many signs at this corner9 presenting a clutter, Fz felt surrounding busi- <br />nesses would sufier fnom this clutter. <br />Members of the Board felt that parhaps some of these signs should be down9 <br />having exceeded permit ti.me, Mr. Foltz offered to check into this matters <br />Mr. Greene moved to grant permi.ssion for erection of the sign' which is to <br />be 4' x41, on a s3x month basis., subject tao renewal at that time if al1 <br />homes are not sold. Second by Mrs. Eian. Vote Vaas unanimous. <br />7. Appellant: Mr. Arigelo J. Cannnarato.9 6145 1{'itch Rd.' North 07msted. <br />Ref: R,equest for variance to move a 12 story brick dwelling from 26824 <br />Lorain Rde, to 6155 Fitch Ra. Liqable space, first floor., is approx- <br />imately 835 square feet0 ftequest is in violation of Section 1153.01, <br />which speci.fies in A Residence District a 12 story dwelling should <br />have 1150 square feet minunur.i livable fixst f].oor areae <br />Adclitional variance is requested to divide appellant's 1ot, which <br />measuras 1371 wide by 5501 deep9 to 57' X 5501, where he now re- <br />sides' and 809 x 5501, where he proposes to move brick dwelling. <br />Request is in vioZation of Section 1157.01 which requires 80, <br />frontage for lots in Class A area. <br />Mr. Cammarato was present., stat3.ng need based on present home being entirely <br />too small. Neighbors present were i4rs. ti-Jarren Palmer, 6165 Fitch, Mrs. lim. <br />K. Meier, 6121 Fitch and Nlrs. NIoyes., 6190 Fitch, They objected to dividing <br />lot as requested. <br />iAr. Foltz, representing Mr. Mangani and i`r. T,dest of Counci7. Flanningq stated <br />that they-both felt the Eoard should stand by the Zoning regulations.. Mr. <br />I'oltz feels should the house ever be torn down' r_o one could bui.Id on a <br />571 wide lot. He also explained that a new orclinance had been passed by <br />Council covering the moving of homes. According to the ordinance all ex- <br />penses in.volved in the movung should be determined before hand and d4uble <br />that amoUnt be posted with the city by the owner.* this amount to include <br />supervision by the city of the mov5ng project and a11 city faciliti.es i.n- <br />volved. Also9 the mover must post bond or have inszax'ance in the amount of <br />$300'000, or cash9 posted with cit3r. <br />At this point I4r. Margani catne to the rneeting and expressed his objection <br />to subdividing the 1oto as requesteds believing that lot wid.th as specified <br />in Class A shoulcl be adhered to. Members of tYm Board felt that if the <br />lot were to be divided, '.' it should be divided to 68, and 69 '9 instel af <br />5€P+ and 801. <br />In refering to the minutes of the Boaxd oI Building Codes., they specify <br />that they would approve,'. the moving of tYe home provi.dirg the Board af <br />Zoning Appeals approves subdividing the lot3 with variance on lot size, <br />and that sidelir_e, setback and square £eet requi'remaz ts are met. <br />?-T-ir. Cammarato stated he did not o,,,m the house to be moved., but had a verbal <br />agreem&nt to buy it if he could find a place to put ito He said he did not <br />intend at this time to add to the house imediatelg after moving it. <br />PIr. Greene moved to table this rea1uest until tYe next regular meeting.,
