? <br />Board of Zoning Appeals Minutes <br />Uecember 13' 1965 Page 2 <br />? <br />on present home, there wi11 be $8'000 remaining to pay for moving and for <br />building foundation and finishing the two rooms. <br />Mr. Lombardo explained that livable first floor space requirements were <br />raised in June 1965 in Class A districte He pointed out -that rir. ?Gammarato <br />bought the house and lot in 190o He said that a great many of -?he homes <br />in this particula-r area on Fitch Rd. are on lots under 80° wide. The brick <br />home to be moved, which is 301 wide, is comparable to those in the area. He <br />felt that in this instance, with the street already built up rnore than 90%, <br />the street could not be upgraded by insisting that the remaining free land <br />be developed beyond the existing houses. He presented a list o= 21 signatures <br />of neighbors who said they had no objection to the movin; oF a brick home <br />from 26824 Lorain IZd. to 6155 ntcn Ra. <br />islr. Palmer, adjacent neighbor to the south, said that when they signed the <br />petition, the petition did not specify division of 1ots. He does not feel <br />the lot should be divided, and objects to division as requested, 80' and 57'e <br />In answer to P1rs. Hartsel's request concerning the existing home, 14r. Lombardo <br />said his client plans either to sell or io rent it. Mr. Gundy stated if <br />svir. Cammarato decided to isn.prove the existing house, permission would be <br />granted to bring it up to code requirements. <br />Mrse Moyes questioned the fact that at the first meeting PIr. Cammarato sasd <br />he had no contract to purchase the house at 26824 I,orain N.d.. Mr. Lombardo <br />explained that 1.1r. Cammarato had a commitment -vrith the mover and on the <br />strength of that, had secured the loan. <br />Mr. Gundy pointed out that this is a request for two variances and each <br />should be dealt with separately. <br />Mr. John Ta7est, Counci7man, came to the meeting at this tirne. Mxs. Meiers, <br />adjacent neighbor to th e north., is now present. <br />Mr. Lombardo said his appsllant requests that the application be modified <br />to show an application to divide the lot exactly in half, as recornmnded by <br />14r. Gundy and the Board of Zoning Appeals, showing each lot to be one-half <br />of 137', or 68.51. <br />i'Lr. Greene moved that the 1379 wide lot be split to 68.51 each. Second by <br />iqrs. Eian. Vote was unanimous. <br />14x°. Byers moved that we grant the variance oi 315 square feet livable `space., <br />fixst floor, area. Second by Mr. 1Velson.
