<br />MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PIANi?ING COIViMISSTON
<br />CITY (?F NORTH OL1,4STED - PLBPtiUARY 9, 1965
<br />'I'he meeting was called to order at 8:04 P.M. by Chairman James Frolcasy.
<br />Present: Chairman James Prolcasy, Vice-Chairrnan Donald T. Tord,
<br />Secretary Anthony T. LaI'onza, and Members Jaclc Esgar, Thomas
<br />Fabek, GJalt Sgalding, and Norman Iviusial.
<br />A1so Present: Richard Labas, City Engineer; Bruce Ki.tchen, Law
<br />Director; and Alex Mangsni, Coun.cilman.
<br />The minutes of the previous meetin.g were read by Secretary LaPonza
<br />and the following corrections made:
<br />"Incluc3.e under A1so Present - Ra1Fh Christman, Mayor"
<br />Under the heading Regional Planning "instead of to use Regional
<br />Flanning f or sgecial projects, change specia1 projects to Nlaster Plan
<br />ar_d also instead of "by belonging to Regional Planring the City would
<br />be eligible f or Federal funds should be chan?ed to By having a master
<br />plan the City would be eligible for Federal F.incis.
<br />Unrler the heading Car1 AZilstein - change 238 sublots to 283 sublots,
<br />Af ter the corrections above listed the minutes were approved as
<br />corrected.
<br />DLEREATH SUBDIVISION N0. 4 P.ZOPOSED
<br />It was the r_ecommend.ation of the committee that Elm Road should be
<br />paved from j.%Test 237th Street -to Michael on both sides of the street
<br />and should include all utilities tahich should be put in and the
<br />, property owners sl-aould be assessed and as f ar as the little block
<br />located to the rear line of sublots 339 32, 31, and part of 30, it
<br />was iheir f eeling that this would cause no problem at this time.
<br />Discussion ensued relative to ttiis proposal between Mr. Clingman,
<br />Mr. Saylor and the PLa.nning Commission and the motion was made to
<br />disaPprove this proposal until the developer could work ou.t a method
<br />of providing paving from West 237th to the Varady development on
<br />both sides of Elm Road which for lack of a second was never voted or.
<br />Discussion ensu.ed and it was moved by A'!r, r'lusial, seconded Uy Nir.
<br />Spalding, to put this back into committee for further considerarion
<br />and requesting Council for the differantial time extension sf required,
<br />YEAS Spalding, 1'vIusial, Prokasy. NOS FORD, Esgar, Fabelc, LaPonza
<br />Upon this dissenting vote, it was pointed ou-t by Mr. Ford this project
<br />was previously approved by the Commission with the contingency that
<br />Council look into the paving of this portion of Elm Road. Discussion
<br />ensued and it was moved by Nfr. Ford, seccnded by Mr. LaFonza, to

<br />Discussion ensued and it was moved by N1ro LaPonza, seconded by IvIr.
<br />Fabek, to put this back into ccnmittee, which committee wi11 be made
<br />up oi IVSr. Spalding, Mr. Fabek, and NIr. Nlusial, for further study.
