A communication was received from Edward Hurley adviting that the Federal government will be accepting requests f or grants on or about April l, 1965, thcough the State Highway Department if it is. the intent of the City to enact a master plan. In regard to the proFosal of the LaKe City Land Company as it Fertains to proposed i,igh rise in the mixed use area, a communication was read from Mr. Lombardo, on behalf of Lake City Land Companp setting forth its views of section 1204.01-02 of the Ofitp Code. The following comments were made by the Law i..irector on the matters as set forth wkich `aere "that in the statement regarding garden-type and high-rise in mixed use, high rise is only pennitted in high-rise zoning areas and mns3t be zoned as sucti"s Also, "in regard to Section 1204.02, North 0lmsted is a chartered city and as such the Planriing Commission is controlied by the charter and not by the Ohio Code". A communication was read from Mre Kanareff requesting to be placed on the agenda of the Planning Commission on March 9, 1965 to present a preiiminary plat of Mercedes Subdivision. As this communication was received too late this proposed subdivision will be plaGec1 on. the agenda f or ?March 23. The year end regort frc;m the Ohio Turnpike Commission was received by the Cominission including safet,y records, -increase in revenue, etc. A communication was received from t?.ne Charter Review Committee advising the Commission that they are now in sessiono CAN TERBURY SUBDIVISION In regard to the above subdivision, the check for $300,00 was pre$ented to tiie City Engineer and this matter will be placed pn the agenda,f or the meeting of March 23. . A communicatfon was read from the Ohio Planning Conf ersnce stating that their annual meeting is to be held in Alcron at the Sheraton Hote1 on March 21, 22, and 23.
