It caas his feeling that most <br />of the users of Mitchell would be 1oca1 residents. <br />After further discussion relati"ve to the proposals submitted <br />for the revisions of Columbia Lands Nos. 1 and 3, and the <br />recommendatZOns of the Commission, motion was made by Mr. Esgar <br />to disapprove Columbia Lands Nos. 1 and 3 revisions; seconded <br />by Chairman Prokasye Roll call on the motion; yeas, LaPonza, <br />Prokasy, Ford, Esgaar and Fabeka • (a) Northzrn Land Developeis <br /> <br />After requesting and xeceiving permissian for a'30-day ex- <br />tension for f.4rthex study, Chairman Prokasy moved that it <br />be kept in Committee, seconded by Mro Esgaro Motion put to <br />a vote; yeas, LaPonza, Prolcasy, Ford, Lsgar and Fabek, <br />(b) Sandy Ridge Nom 3 <br />The main objection of lack of proper access has been overcome <br />- by the developer by acquisition of a lot ,on Dover Road showing <br />the 60-foot right of way over this 1ot. And upon request of <br />the Safety-Service D:i.rector9 Mra K.anareff stated that there <br />would be included a''planting" area ?-or beautificationo <br />The situation of the reserve strip was 1-aaght up by Mr. Lsgaro <br />Because of the acquisition of an 80-foot parcei with a 60-foot <br />right of way Uo over-come to access problem, Mr.Kitchen was <br />asked whether the 10-ioot strip on either side of the right <br />of way be considered as reserve strips under the ordinance. <br />Further discussion cvas had on how the developer intended to <br />dispose of the land, plus the thoughts of the Comrnission <br />were expressed in varying degrees over this situation. <br />As a result of the discussion Chairman Prokasy moved that <br />the preliminary plan ior Sandy Ridge No. 3 be approved sub- <br />ject to the change that the second access from Dover Center <br />Road be marked as Black A and reserved fo-r future street <br />purposes and qlso subject to the calculation of the City <br />Engineer concerning the resulting land for cluster acreage; <br />sec.onded by'Mro LaPonza. Roll call on the motion; yeas, <br />LaPonza, Prokasy, Ford, Esgar and Fabeko '
