CITY OF NORTH OL'_fSTFD - BOArD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />Regular Meeting held at City Hall ---- Sep-tember 6, 1967 <br />The meeting wa.s called to order at 7:/+0 P.M. by Mr. 4dilliam Greene, Chairman. <br />Members Present: Mrs. Eian, Mssrs. Greene, Nelson, Robert5 <br />A1so Present: Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner <br />The minutes o.f the August 23, 1967 meeting-were approved as written. <br />l. Appellantt Thomas Papp, 3173 Twin Circle. Reauest to build an addition <br />onto rear of home. Distance from proposed addition to closest <br />point of detached garage is 71. Distance from proposed addition <br />to rear Iot line is 331. <br />Request is in violation of Ordinance #62-33, Section I151.04, <br />a detached garage must be a minimum of 201 from dwelling and <br />Section 1163.01 which requires a 501 rear yard. <br />Present: Mr. Papp <br />Mr. Papp presented letters f°rom Mr. Egyed, Mr. and I"Irs. Watts and Mr. Wunderle <br />stating that they had no objection to his plans. Mro Nelson moved to grant a <br />131 variance a.nd a 171 rear yard variance with provision that a proper firewall <br />be installed as specified by the city code. Mrs. Eian seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed. <br />2. Appellant: Ronald A. Kistner,, 6651 Chaxlea Road. Request to erect a six <br />foot fence extending from the southeast rear corner of the <br />house out 121 and down the side toward the rear of the yard 161. <br />Request is in violation of Ordinance #62-33, Section 1151.04' <br />fence not to exceed four feet in neight, <br />Present: Mrs. Kistner <br />Mrs. Kistner explained that they would li-ke to install a redwood basketweave <br />type privacy fence to screen the patio area. Mrs. Eian moved to grant a 2' <br />variance for 2$1 of fence. Mr. Nelson seconded the motiono Motion passed. <br />3. Appellant: Z•?illiam Rinyu, 3657 irest 117th Street, Cleveland. Request to <br />erect a detached garage at 3376 Wooclview Drive, North Olmsted <br />61 too close to house on a.djoining lot. <br />Request is in violation of Ordinance #62-33, Section 1151.0%Y <br />a detached garage must be a minimlun of 201 f'rom dwelling. <br />Present: Mr. Rinyu, Jotin Willia.ms, Ed Doehring, James Santora <br />It was ex-pl.ained that because of a storm d_rain easement on rear of Iot, a 61 <br />variance was requested. Neighbors present examined plans and questioned Mr. <br />Rinyu. They agreed that they had no objection. Mre Nel.son moved to grant a <br />61 variance on condition that builder put in a catch basin subject to approval <br />by the City Engineer. (In center of SA 19 at an elevation of 97.5). Mr, <br />Roberts seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br />4 thru 7. Appellant: The Orlean Co. Request for variance of 151 on each of <br />four lots as follows: S/L 50, 24932 Antler Drive <br />SA 282 24837 Antler Drive <br />S/L 25, 24909 Antler Drive <br />SA 48, 24884 Antler Drive
