. <br />r>. <br />C2TY OF NORTH OIMSTFD - BOARD OF ZONIIdG APPE.A.LS <br />Regular Meeting held at City Hall --- August 2, 1967 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7.30 P.M. by Mr. William Greene, cha.irman. <br />Members Present: Mssrs. Greene9 R.oberts, Byers, Nelson <br />Also Present: Mr. Brady, Building Departnent <br />The minutes of the July 5, 1967 and JuIy 26' 1967 meetings were approved as written. <br />1. Appellant: Etiigene Slawinslti' 3523 Clayton Drive. Request to instal.I a <br />six foot redwood fence around two sides of the patio located <br />at the rear of iv.s residence. Vari2.nce of 21 requested. <br />In violation of Ordinance #62-33, Section 1151.04, fence <br />not to exceed 41 in height. <br />Pre9ent: Mr, Slawinski <br />Mr. S1awinski stated that he needed the fence i"or privacg and presented a letter <br />from his neighbor stating that he had no objections. 14r. Ttelson moved that <br />a 21 va-riance be granted; seconded by Mr. Byers and passed. <br />2. Appellant: Russell Lawyer, 3426 Dawn Circle. Request -to install a roof <br />over existing patio 3019" from rear Iot Iine. Variance of <br />1913" requested. <br />In violation of Ordinance #r62-33, Section 1163.01, minimum <br />depth oi rear yard sha11 be 501. <br />Presents Mx. Lawyer <br />Mr. Lawyer stated that he had talked with neighbors and that they lzad no objection. <br />The roof would be an extension of the present roof, shi.ngled to match tne house. <br />Mr. Byers moved that a 1913" variance be granted.. 5econcted by Mr. Roberts and passed. <br />3, Appellant: Glenn TnTillard of Rini's Supermarket, 26035 Lorain Road. Request <br />to install an over-size illuminated sign. Varia.nce of IO scluare <br />feet requested. <br />In violation of Ordinance 0162-33' Section 1225.02. <br />Present: Mr. Willard <br />Mr. Willard stated that sign is needed for identification and that it wi11 be <br />lvca•ted of east side of east drive entrance. Mr. Robeits moved that a 10 square <br />ieet variance be granted on condition that positioning of sign be checked by <br />Saf°ety Director to ascertain that it does not block view of traffic on Lorain9 <br />second.ec by Mr. Nelson and passed. <br />4. Appellant: Beneficial Finance Co., 26436 Larain Road. Request to erect <br />an illuminated 3' X 1316" fascia sign a'dove office location. <br />In violation of Ordinance ;62-33, Section 1225.02. <br />Present: Mr. Vanderbank
