Page 2- Minutes Zoning Brd. of Appeals - June 7,1967 <br />Chairman read letter from Mr. Sepesy, interested property owner, stating <br />because of the number of children on the street, he felt any crowding of <br />homes would add to dange of traffic on the street and stated he was <br />opposed to permitting the variance. <br />Discussion followed, Mr. Puzzitello stated he could build home with <br />detached garage but wanted to conform with present homes. <br />Attorney F. Moss withdrew request for this variance. <br />4. Appellant: Hennie Homes, 28867 Lorain Rd. Request for variance <br />to build a dwe11. with attached garage on 5/L 96 <br />Plumwood Dr. with total sidelines of 13', 2' sideline <br />variance requested. <br />Violation of Zon. Ord. Sect. 1161.01 which requires <br />dwelling with attached garage have total sidelines of <br />15' with minimum one one side not less than 5 feet. <br />Attorney F. Moss stated similar problem to S/L 95 exists and house <br />on S/L 97 is under construction. Interested neighbors stated do not <br />want smaller home that would not conform. Mr. Hoffa questioned <br />whether new buyer S/Z 97 was advised of less side yard space. <br />Less Macs, 3906 Rd, stated he was chairman of Planning Comm, when <br />subdivision was recorded and Bldr. has upgraded Subdivision from <br />original $18,900 -$19,000 homes planned to more expensive homes <br />to make this a high class subdivision, therefore variances are <br />required. <br />Motion by Mr. Nelson variance of 2' be granted, providing written <br />statement of agreement is received from buyer of S/L 97. Seconded <br />by Mr. Roberts, passed. <br />5. Appellant: Hennie Homes, 28867 Lorain Rd. Request variance to <br />build a dwelling on S/L 118 Kingston Circle, this <br />is a corner lot and one foot street side line variance <br />is requested. <br />Violation of Zoning Ord. Section 1159.02, which <br />requires minimum set back on the street upon which <br />the side of house faces shall be 25'. <br />Mr. Moss stated requirement of Sandy Ridge Subdivision was raised to <br />A area, and that houses fit in most instances, but will require only <br />1' corner lot variance.on S/L 118. <br />Moved to grant variance of 1' street side line variance by Mr. Nelson, <br />seconded by Mr. Byers, Passed. <br />6. Appellant: William G. Rinyu & Co. 3657 West 117th St. Cleveland,0. <br />Request to build a dwelling on S/L 8 Mapleridge Dr. re- <br />quiring 10'6" rear yard variance. <br />Violation of Zon. Ord. Sect. 1163.01, which'requires <br />50' rear yard. <br />Mr. Otto Bulert represented Rinyu Co., neighbors present E. Gordon, <br />T. Enright and George Knectel. <br />Councilman Hodgins requested Brd. to continue request for variance on <br />S/L 8 and 9 for Rinyu Co., until next meeting when Mr. Knectel would <br />present request for variance.
