Mr. Bulert for Rinyu Co. <br />stated buyer wanted 1 story dwelling and this home would conform with present <br />homes on street. <br />Mr. Greene explained that the purpose of the Board is to aleviate hardship, <br />whenever it exists, when parcels cannot be developed without a variance. <br />Mr. Bulert.requested continuance of the appeals for Sublots 8 and 9 Mapleridge <br />at next meeting of the Board June 22,1967. <br />Motion by Mr. Byers request for continuance of appeals 5/L 8 and 9 Mapleridge <br />meeting June 22 be granted, seconded by Mrs. Eian, passed. <br />7. Appellant Rinyu and Co. 3657 West 117th St. Cleveland,0. request to <br />build a dwelling S/L 2- 23452 Woodview Dr,,North 0lmsted. <br />Request for 18' rear yard variance. <br />Violation of Zon. Ord. Sect. 1163.01, which requires SO' rear yard. <br />Mr. Jim Santora, neighbor S/L 1 inquired as to value of home proposed and <br />would it conform to 12 story homes on street, and whether same home Rinyu is building <br />across the street? <br />Otto Bulert representing Rinyu Co. presented picture of proposed dwelling <br />and stated it is larger than house across the street and valued at $28,000. <br />Mr. Gundy stated since original homes were built floor space requirements <br />have been increased about 200 square feet. <br />Mrs. Kunath adjacent neighbor had no objection to variance requested. <br />Motion by Mr. Roberts to grant variance of 18' rear yard variance, seconded <br />by Mr. Byers. Passed. <br />9. Appellant: Jacqueline B. Russo, 23375 Westchester. Request for variance <br />to erect 6 or 7 foot fence along back property line and 14' <br />up East side of lot. <br />Request is in violation of Zon Ord. Sect. #1151.04 (H), fence <br />not to exceed four feet in height. <br />Mr. Russo stated high solid fence is necessary to block from view a county <br />drainage ditch that runs entire width of his property, which is filled with <br />debris and stagnant water. <br />Mrs. hodgins inquired, if County comes to clean the difch,'will fence interfere? <br />Mr. Gundy stated if ditch is part of easement then County can remove fence to <br />clean ditch. <br />Moved by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mrs. Eian to grant variance of 2' fence height.Passed. <br />Meeting adjourned 10:45 P.M. <br />William J.Green,Chairman <br />Marie Baukema,Sec'y.Protem
