Roll Call <br />The meeting was called to order at 8;07 p.m. by Chairman Jack Esgar, <br />Those present were Messrs. Jack Esgar, Kurt Richards, James Leonard, <br />and Tom Fabek. Absent: Norman Musial and Edward Byers. Also present: <br />Carl Bo11ui and f3ob Svoboda, Regional Planning Gommission; Mr. R.ansbury, <br />Engineering Department; and Bruce Kitchen; Law Director. <br />?----- - c=-=.? <br />II. Reading and Correction of Minutes <br />Minutes of ineeting of June 27, 1968. An omission in the minutes should <br />have included, °'the Recording Secretary agreed to send minutes and <br />actions of Loning Board of Appeals to all members of Planning Commission". <br />Section IV, Para, (a) Mr. Cliney name should be spelled Kleine> <br />Mr. Leonard moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of <br />June 27, 1968 and to approve as corrected. Mr. Richards seconded <br />the motion. Ayes: Leonard, Richards, Esgar, and Fabeko <br />III. Old Business <br />(a) Regional Planning Commission Report - Mr. Bohm and Mr. Svoboda <br />presented detailed land use layouts for Lorain Road. This would <br />include uses of the land on Lorain Road through 1980. The names <br />of: aJ.l the parcels are shown on the layouL-. TFiey are also study- <br />ing school sites in the North Olmsted Park area and other school <br />sites for the Board of Edlication. He stated a draft of the fiscal <br />analysis would be ready for the next meeting. <br />(b) 131ossom Land And McCrone SL:1bCjLV1.S1011 - Mr. Di.i3enedetto stated he <br />hed agreec] witll Mr. McCr.orie and Mr. 1C1e.i.ne Co prc:sen,L Lhi.s layout <br />as a unified proposal. An additional 1.8 acres of land is available <br />for the recreation area that is required under the cluster develop- <br />ment. The parties involved did not have their letter of agreement <br />ready for this meeting, Mr. DiBenedetiCo and Mr. McCrone stated <br />the letter oP agreement would be sent in three days, stating this <br />was a unified proposal. Mr. Fabek made the moL-ion that the prelim- <br />inary plan for Blossom Land Corporati_on dated July £3, 1.968, which <br />includes Sandy Ridge Subdivisions 4, 5, 6, and 7, be approved on <br />the contingency of a report from the Law Director. Seconded by <br />Mr. Richards. Ayes: Leonard, Richards, Esgar, and Fabek. <br />(c) Brookparlc Extension and Rezoning - Mr. Leonard reported he is <br />against the Brookpark Road Extension and rezoning because of <br />traffic problems caused by the proposed road between Saxon's <br />? Restaurant and stores to the East. He is opposed to the rezoning <br />of about 18 acres of land. Mr. Bohm stated we had an excess of <br />land zoned commercial for our requirements to 1980. He felt there <br />is a need for the Brookpark Road Extension. There is not a need <br />for a road between the Saxon Restaurant and the si:ores to the East.
