BOARD OF ZONTNG .APPE.ALS - August 7, 1968 - Page 2 <br />Mr. Kiizg explai.ned that they wish tQ erect a, basketweave fence for privacy purposes and <br />for sepaxation at the property line. The house next door sits c3ose f,o the road (only' <br />about 201 from the sidewalk) while their otan hpuse is set back- 701. TYie next door house <br />is in disrepair9 has tar paper siding on an unfinished adclit'ion, etc. and has been in <br />this condition since the Kings moved into their hame las't Oetober. Mrse King sa'zd that <br />she has talked to the Ferme,y2es who live in the house and that they ha,ve no objections <br />to a fence being install.ed.. A Ietter £rom Andxew Repko of 25190 Butternut Ridge stated <br />that he ha.s no objections. Mro and Mrs. Beldirig stated tYat they do objeet to the fence <br />and suggested that possibly shrubs or evergreens mioht serve the purpose as well. They <br />pointsd out that the Fermoylea have only Iived in the house fvr a short tunc and that <br />thQy felt that given enough time, the addition wQUld be compZeted. Mr. Greene stated <br />that he would refrain from voting on the basis that he is also a neighbor and an interested <br />party. He stated th€3.t he does not feel that a 61 fence woulcl help and suggested the <br />pmssibility of screening the natio area only. Mr. Kixig st,eted that he woul.d be willing <br />to cut the Iength of the fence. Mr': Forcellini moved -to grant a variance for a 61 fence <br />extending fron the back of the garage to 2' bey'ond the back of the patio; se;conded by <br />Mrs. Eian and passed. <br />4. Appellant: Robert Koeacs' 24456 Noreen Drivea Request to ereet a garage 181 from <br />the dwelling and 21 from the side 1Qt Iine. <br />Request is in violatiQn of Ordi.raanee #62-33, Section 1151°04, whieh <br />requires th:?.t a detached garage be so located that no part of same shE.Il <br />be within 20' ef any dwelling and sha.Zl be a minimum of 51 from any <br />pro-perty Iii-iee <br />Present: Mr. Kovacs, Mr, and Mrs. Taylar9 Councilman Vixginia Hodgins <br />Mro Kovacs explained that there is a 151 Engineer3.rig Easement at the rear of his property <br />which prohibits his going baek the req-uired 201 from the dwelling. By bringing the garage <br />.forward, he must ;olace it farthur to the side in order to make the swing into the second <br />sta.].l af the garage. He stated tha.t the garage will be roo£ed identical to the house and <br />would be brick veneer on front to match the houseo Mr. and Mrs. Taylor stated that theg <br />do.not object to the 181 distance =rom the dwal].i.ng but do object to the garage being <br />built 21 from their lot Iine. It wa.s determined that it wouZd be defini•tely impossible <br />to move the garage over the requirc;d 51 and stil1 be able to make the ssaing into the <br />garage if it is anly I$1 frora the house. Mrs. Hodgins wi.Il check to see if there is <br />any possible wa.y of btzilding fttrthur back and on a portion of the E?ig3neeriilg Easemento <br />Mrs. Eian inoved to continue the case; Seconded by Mr. Forcelli.ni and passed. It was <br />decided that the Board will hold another August ineeting on 8/21/68 and the case will be <br />heaa°d at that t3me. <br />5. ADpellant: Bauer Development Compaxiy. Request to erect a, dwe7ling on SIL 1?$ <br />33ellevue llrive 2161, too c]:ose ta side Zot lineo <br />Presen'te Mr. Bauer, Mr. Oring <br />Mre.Bauer expZained that this sub Iot is on the curve oz" Be1lQVUe Drive and that the <br />side rear of the lzouse would require a variance o:f 216". The home to be erected is <br />their standard split Ievel model and would enha.nce the neighborhaod. Mr. Oring stated <br />that he objected, that Mr. Bauer should not be allowed to get away witli the things he` <br />is doing in the subdivision ?.n.d that no varia,nees should be grantede He said that one <br />neighbor haa hot been notifiedo He.is a new homeohmer and it was,explained that the pla.t <br />books a.re brought up to date only onee a year an.d that the property was still liasted <br />to Pa.uer I?evelopment Companye He prov3.ded the Board with the name o£ Edward Gron of <br />6156 Bellevue Drive.
