The height of the sign has been <br />reduced from 50t to 281 and the square rootage ha.s been reduced from 1531 to 79t. <br />It hws decid.ed that the size could. be cansiclered after the aafety fa.ctor was deterrlined. <br />Mr. Forcellini moved to continue the case pending z ruling from the Safety Director <br />on the location of sign9 seconded by Mrs. Eian and passed. <br />Mr. Gundy Urought up the subject of a possible appeal regarding his decision on two <br />service stations Iocated at WeSt Park Drive and Lorain Road (SI•T and N`T?7 corners) and <br />Helleen Ford:located at East Park Drive and Larain Roa.d. He cited Section 1133.07 <br />regarding the Board's interpreta.tion of the Ordinance and would like them to consider <br />the situation, ' He has had a request ior interpretation frolt the MaJror's office. It <br />is the contention of certain i7idividuaI.s that gas st'ations are in`:violation of <br />Section 1173.02 (H) Sub Iand Halleen Ford in violation of S.ection 1173.02 (F). The <br />contention is that service stations and auto sales shoiarQOm and zervice are in fact <br />public garagese The"nuestion that must be answered is whether or not service stations <br />and automobile showrooms constitute a public garage. Board members felt that they <br />should have an interpretation from the Law D?rector and requested that the secretary <br />write to hsra_ e:=laining the p-roblem an.cl-.asking that he raeet ?tri.th them on either <br />T4anday October 14th or Thurscay OctobPr 17th.
