Leonard, Richard PTelson, Edward BJers? Kurt <br />Richards9 James Davis, Edward Brewer, Absent: Dormld Ledvina. Alsa <br />presenta Mr. Ransberry, 9ssistant to Acting City Engineer9 Sall.y Henkle, <br />Secretary. <br />Reading and Correction of Minutes <br />Mr. Brewer moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the 7/28/70 <br />meeting and to approve as written; seconded by Mr. Byers and. unanimously <br />Passed. <br />OId Business <br />(a) 0]msted Z,Toods - Mr, Ransberry presented the fina1 record linen and <br />fina3 ir,i.provement plan for Olmsted Z-loods Subdivision which was passed <br />previously. It invoived_ the re-shap3ng of 9 lets and NIr. Ransberxy <br />stated that the nlans are in good order ar_d conform with aIl minimum <br />requirementsm Mr. Nelson moved to approve the new linen and final <br />improvement plan as submitted; seconded by A'Ir. Brewer and unanimousZy <br />passed. <br />(b) Siebenhar Subdivision - Mr. Ra,nsberxy presented the final record <br />Iinen and final improvement plan for Siebenhas Subdivision which was <br />previously approved. Iie stated_ that there Tias one reviszon madeo <br />Lots were shortened to anprox-??nately 70' X 2001. Mr. Davis moved <br />to approve the final Iinen..and i.mprovement plan for Siebenhar Sub- <br />division as presented9 seconded by Mro Byers and unanimously passed. <br />(c) John McCrone Subdivision - Mr. Leonard read a letter from the City <br />Engineer stating that the John McCrone Subdivision had gone over the <br />time Iimit set by the Ordinance and suggesting that according to the <br />Ordinance it be marked r_ot approved due to delay of the deve:Lopero <br />Planning Commission membexs agreed that the submission should be <br />disapproved. <br />New Deve].opments and Subdivisions <br />(a) TTorth Olmsted Board of Education School Plans - Mr. Storch and Mr. <br />Leslco presented plans for the new Forest Elementary School aild the <br />add.ition to Birch School. Discussion was held. Mr. R.ansber:ry <br />stated that his on].y qu estion was in regards to the storm sewer at <br />Forest School and that he hadn't had time to check it out thiDroughly. <br />Mr. Richards questioned the fact that there is just one acce;ss to <br />the Forest School area. Mr. Storch pointed out that pupils would <br />all be coming from north of Lorain an.d that he didnt t ltnow w]ZO a <br />walk-vray to Lorain would service. It was also pointed out tlzat in <br />the case of the other schools in the city, there is usually only <br />one access. Mr. Nelson moved to approve the plans for_Fores-t School <br />with the notation to_Council_that the storm sewer_be checked;__seconded <br />,?:
