B moved to accept the plans for the addition to Birch School; <br />------- <br />seconded by.Mr By'exs and unanimously passed, <br />(b) Hen Roc Investment Co. RezoninR - Mr. Damon9 archetect and Mr. Moss, <br />attorney presented plans for a 7 story medium rise apartment building <br />and a 1?rofessional building proposed for the north side of Brookpark <br />Road with zngress and egress irom Great Northern Boulevard and j•:Testview <br />Drive. The area is currently zoned fbr multiple residence and the <br />request is for rezoning to mixed multiple. Mr. Ransberry pointed out <br />deficiencies in setbaclc reciuirements under mixed multiple and stated <br />that a breakdown or_ number of bedrooms would be needed to determine <br />the code rec±uirement on parking. 2t was aecided that Mr. Damon would <br />meet with the City Engineer in order to amend plans to comply with <br />the ordinancea Mr. Moss withdrew the request and will re-submit i.t <br />prior to the next meeting. <br />(c) Northern Fxecutives - Mr. Gundy presented plans for a. three st? <br />office building to be constructed_at 26630_Lorain F.oad. He stated <br />that the parking is suf#'icient and the pl.ans meet the ordinance <br />reauirements. I4r. Richards moved_to accept the parkin?plan as__ <br />submitted; seconded by P2r. Nelson and unaniniously passed.- <br />(d) Jamestos•m Villa.ge Apartments - Mr. Gund,y presented the ?Ians for <br />Phase TII of Jainestown Village _Apartments and ex-plained that the <br />?eveiol?er obtained ? variar_ce on num?ier of enclased garages from <br />the _Board of Zoning Appeals. The parking p_lan is in conformance <br />with the variance granted. Mr. Brewer moved to accept the parking <br />.:plan as submitted; secpnded by Mr. Byers and unani.mously passed. <br />V. Communications - None <br />VI. Committee Reports - None <br />VITI. New Business <br />(a) C.E.I, Power Line Location,- Mr. Hays, Mr. Galla and Mr. Steiner of <br />C.E.I. presented plans for right-of way for one 132,000 volt steel <br />pole line averaging 50t in width and requixi.ng a total right-of way <br />in North Olmsted of approx.i.mately e5 miles. The proposed Iine is <br />in the Colum.bia Road - Butternut Ridge area. Discussion was held <br />regarding necessity of additional power, appeaxa.nce of poZes, safety <br />features, etc. Mrm Byers moved to approve the localuian of power <br />line as presented9 seconded by Mr. Leonard and unanimously passed. <br />(b) Columbi.ne A-partments Rezoning - Mr. Rosenblum presented plans for <br />townhouses and ane medium rise apartment on the Biddulph property, <br />north of Lorain just west o:f Columbia Road, The area is presently <br />? zoned commercial and residential and the request is for rezoning to <br />m4 <br />-Lxed use. Mr. Ra,nsberry pointed out problems on setbaclts, distance <br />between buildings, etc. Mr. Rosenblum withdrew the proposal and <br />will re-submit prior to the next meeting.
