BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS - 11/3/71 ° Page 2 <br />4. Anthony J. Weishar, 23238 Marion Rd. - Request for 4' side yard variance <br />(1133.13). Request is in violation of Ord. #62-33, Section 1151.04, <br />which requires 5' between detached garage and property lineo <br />Present: Mr. & Mrs. Weishar, Mr. John Beckley (father-in-law), Mrs. Skotko, & <br />Mrs. Phillips (Mrso Skotko's daughter). <br />Al1 witnesses were sworn in. Mr. Weishar presented plans and stated that he would <br />like to set the garage back 5' more than requested. There is an existing concrete <br />pad, which is 14' x 20' and the Weishars would like to change it to 20' x 241. <br />Mrs. Skotko, 23252 Marion Rd., said that their existing pad is only 15 inches from <br />her property and she thinks that is much too close. She f e1t that it would decrease <br />the value of her property. Mro Scheef suggested that they move the garage over so <br />that it is 3' from the foundation lineo Mre Scheef made a motion to grant a 2' <br />variance; seconded by Mr. Berglund and unanimously passed. <br />5. William Datko, 28360 Nandina Dre - Request for special permit for tool shed <br />in rear yard. Request made as per Ord. #62-33, Section 1133.09. <br />Present: Mr. Datko <br />Mr, Datko was sworn ine He presented a picture of the existing tool shed. He <br />stated that the tool shed is needed for storage of yard equipment. Mr. Datko <br />also presented a letter from neighbors on each side of his property and they <br />have no obJection. He also stated that there are trees surrounding this shed, <br />and there is a wooded area behind his property. Mrs. Eian moved to grant a <br />special permit for the existing tool shed in rear yard at 28360 Nandina Dr. <br />It was seconded by Mr. Tubbs and unanimously passed. <br />6. Frank Panarello, 5463 Whitehaven Dr. - Request for 21 side line variance. <br />Request is in violation of Ord. #62-33, Section 1151.04, which requires <br />51 between detached garage and property 1ine. <br />Present: Frank Panarello <br />Mr. Panarello was sworn in. Mre Panarello presented plans of the proposed garage. <br />He stated that this variance would make entrance into the garage easier and leave <br />at least 25' of the back yard for other use. He also said that the neighbor has <br />no objection. Mr. Scheef made a motion that a 2' variance be granted; seconded by <br />Mr. Berglund and unanimously passed, <br />7. Harold J. Vondereau - Request to erect dwelling on S/L 46 Silverdale Dr., <br />Per. Parcel #232-27-6, with a 65' variance for square footage in C1ass B <br />District. Request is in violation of Ord. #62-33, Section 1153.02, which <br />requires 1060 sq. ft. <br />Present: Mr. Vondereau, Edward Lawson, Clifford Irvine, J. R. Irvine, Wanda Gates, <br />Mr. & Mrs, Hagley. <br />A11 witnesses were sworn in. Mrm Vondereau presented plans and photos of the <br />proposed dVrelling. Mr. Clifford Irvine asked if the proposed home has a garage. <br />Mr. Vondereau said it doesn't. Mr. Irvine asked what the tiaidth of the house is. <br />He was told that it is 26, wide. Mr. Irvine questioned the grade around this <br />propertf. Mr. Gundy said that the City Engineer wi11 consider the grade in the <br />neighboring vicinity. Mr. Scheef moved to grant a variance for 89 square feet; <br />it was seconded by Mr. Tubbs and unanimously passed.
