BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS (9/22/71) - Page 4 <br />8e Appellant: Hennie Homes - Request to erect dwelling on S/L 51 Chapel Hi11 <br />Drive with 48' rear yard. Viol'ation Ord. #62-33, Section 1163.01 which <br />requires 50' rear yaxd. <br />_oPresent: Mr. Richard Puzzitello, Mrs. Zelzman, Mrse Bennett. <br />All witnesses were sworn in. Mr. Richard Puzzitello represented Hennie Homeso <br />? He presented a picture of proposed dwelling, and stated that the proposed home <br />would add to the appearance of the street and would eliminate the weeds. <br />Mrs. Zelzman, 26515 Chapel Hi1l Dr., said that she would rather see a house there <br />instead of weedsm <br />Mrs. Bennett, 26537 Chapel Hi11 Dr., also approved of the home. <br />Mr. Tubbs made a motion that a 2' variance from the rear lot line be granted, Mr. <br />Berglund seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved. <br />9. Appellant: Hennie Homes - Request to erect dwelling on S/L 311 Wood Park <br />Lane with 481 rear yard. Violation Ord, #62-33, Section 1163.'01 which <br />requires 50' rear yard. Request for 3.33' rear yard variance. <br />Present: Mr. Richard Puzzitello. <br />Mr. Puzzitello was sworn in. He stated that because of the higher cost of building <br />homes, people expected to get a larger home in return. P1at was presented and <br />explained to the board. Mr. Berglund made a motion to grant the variance. Mr. <br />Tubbs seconded the motion and it was unanimously passed. <br />4W 10. & 11a C1eveland Trust made a reqnest to be heard at meeting in Novembera <br />12. Appellant: August R. Bizay, 4546 Clague Road - Request to erect detached <br />garage 13' from adjacent dwelling. Violation Ord. #62-33, Section 1151.04 <br />which requires a minimum of 20' between detached garage and any dwelling. <br />Present: Mr. & PZrs. Brown, Mr. Arth, adjacent property owners. <br />A11 witnesses were sworn ina A letter from Mro Bizay was read by Mr. Roberts. <br />Mr. Bizay's letter stated that the divider beam from I-480 would affect the center <br />of his driveway, therefore making it hazardous for him to turn in. <br />Mr. Brown, 4532 Clague Rd., questioned the fact that the garage would be only 13 <br />feet from his living room, and Mr. Bizay had enough room in his back yard to <br />locate the garage elsewhere. <br />Mr. Arth, 4530 Clague Road, said that Mre Bizay had made a big enough fuss about <br />the divider that the state had agreed to move the beam to give Mr. Bizay enough <br />clearancee Mr. Bizay was not present. <br />?'?? <br />rqr, Berglund made a motion to deny the variance. It was seconded by Mrso Eian and <br />? request for variance was unanimously denied.
