Almquist explained tha,t the boarci grantec7 them a smaller v^riance in January <br />for a smaller addition. Since then they have decided that they, kwould ?i.ke to include a.n <br />indoor si,Ti.mming pool, faraila* roam, etc. The house ta the rear of their lot ha.s an attached <br />garage and there are high shrubs a.long the rear lot l.ine. The proposEd addition would <br />conform to the existing c'..welling. Mr. Ricnards cited the view from his house next door <br />being blocked off anci felt that th.is would decrease the va1ue of hic hbme. Mr. Gamersall <br />stated that he doesn1 t Iike the idea of the addit5.on coming so fax back on the lot but <br />stated -that Mr. and Mrs; AIm:?u? ?t had st?ted tha.t.the alternative is an ?.bvve the ground <br />pool in the rear yard that would be enclosed in some way. Mr. Gundy stated that E-ny <br />permanent enclosure would require a variance. Mr. Gomexsall furthur stated that he <br />would pre#'er the indoor pool and proposed addition to any permanent enclasure-type <br />nool in the back ya.rd. Discussion was held. It was suggested that the ?roposed addition <br />could be made small.er and a lesser varia,nce i,•oul.d then be necessarar. h'!r. These :ninutes were a.ppraved as corrected.
