Committee Report <br />Requirements for applying for Federal funds in case the committee wants to <br />go along with a further planning on a professional basis-- wi11 review new <br />Federal requirements to get matching funds, as planning requirements are <br />much more complex than they have been in the pastm <br />VIII, New Business <br />Mr, Leonard stated that there is a 1ot of racket about our Industrial area. <br />He suggested that something be done to get this going. The committee should <br />think about their advice to Council to get our Engineering Department to <br />complete the roadways out there and actually lay these things out. TZr. Davis <br />asked what happens to that undeveloped land if it suddently has roads; A1so <br />what happens to the value of the land? Mr. Leonard stated that it does not <br />change the value of the land, whether it is developed or undevelopede The <br />area Mr. Leonard discussed is from 480 to Lorain R.d. <br />Mr. Byers asked if anything had been done on the Brookpark Extension. Mr. <br />Ledvina said there was not. Mr. Ransbury stated that the reason for the <br />delay was simply a matter of gathering enough finances to put the road in. <br />Mr. Leonard made a suggestion that when a rezoning takes place a time limitation <br />be put on for some development of the parcel. This wi11 be further discussed. <br />TX. Adjournment <br />Mr. Byers moved to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Mr. Richards and unanimously <br />passed. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
