G. <br />Rosenblum & John Antol, who tri.e3 to keep Mr. Reimer from going <br />before the Planning Commissiono Mr. Kitchen advi.sed Yx. Reimer <br />and his lawyer that the Ci+y is not a party to thi.s actiono <br />P1ans were presented for the 388 unit apartment }:uilding to be <br />1.ocated on Lorain and CQlumbia Road, Mr. Prvkasy stated that in <br />the ori.ginal proposal the resic:ents were advised that Mixed Use <br />cotlld be cor.sidered Lecause it gave the Ci.ty fairly tight control <br />in regard to zoningo The residents felt, wi-?h good reason, ?hat <br />the rezoni.ng was done with the i.ntent of producing a p1.an si.mi.lar <br />to what waS oxiginally presented and buildings that would not <br />exceed fi.ve stories. To grant the use would be J.ega1., but it <br />would Le breaking faith with the residentse Mr. West felt that <br />the residents should be inc].uded in any di.ecussion. Mro Ledvi,na <br />also fe1,t that there shoul.d Ite some communzcati.on with the people <br />before someth3.ng is done. Mro Ledvina moved to set up a joint <br />meeting wi.th the Build3.ng, Zoning and Development Cotmnittee, and <br />that they will arrange with the adjacent property owners and <br />other interested parties to attend a meeting Decemher 6. It was <br />seconded 1;y Nlr, Brewer and unanimously passed.
