Mr. R:.chards stated <br />that the previous prob'Lem was the neighbors' opposition. nir. Saks <br />said that at that time there were problems with the nei.ghbors, but <br />the project has been very successful. rir. Leona.rd said that he was <br />getting tired of looking at drawings of bv.iidings. If the zoning is <br />changed, what i.s the worst possib7,e use this can be put to? Dave Far.sbury presented <br />plans. A discussion was helde Mr. Lasch proposed to split one <br />piece of property into two. Mr. Richards questioned the house <br />next to it. Comm.ittee Report <br />Mr. Ledvina stated that he attended a meeting with the Yiayor, Council, <br />Mr. idagy, of the Citizens' Advisory Committee, and a representative <br />from the State of Ghio Department of Development Flanning riv-zsion in <br />reKa.rd to the a.vailability of federal funds as fi7.tered direct to the <br />local communities threugh the s+..ate. The Citizens' Advisory Committee <br />ha.d strongly advised tY:at we work iurther with professional help <br />throuhh the Regien2l Planning Commission. Mr. Leonard asked what was <br />the matter with the last $40, 0f)0, 00 tae gc,t last time? Mr. I.edvina <br />stated that federal funds require citizens ' participation, which *„*e <br />now have in the Citizens' Advisory Committee. Mr. Zeonard then said <br />how can we be convinced that Regional Planning will come up with <br />a.nything else? i°ir. Davis asked how long would this study take? Plr. <br />Nagir stated that tre professionals would not be doing all the talking. <br />Mr. Ivagy's committee has agreed they would appreciate professi.onal <br />help. Mr. Ledvina. muved for an indication of approval from the members <br />of the Planning Commission that they proceed to obtain a partially <br />funded arrangement with Regional Planning to come up wi.th a revi.see: <br />oomprehersive pi.an for Nortr. 0lmsted, working with and premisecl upon <br />tY:e active participation of the C9.tizens' Advisory CommittGe on Land <br />'Jse.
