Zoning Board of Appeals - 3- 8. Roger E. Clingman, 19780 South Sa?amore Rd., Fairview Fark l?1?126. Request for variance (1133•13). Request is to establish 35 ft. set back from street on Clingman Subdivision (cor. Grace and Elm) T,ot #4 on drawing. Referred to Zoning by Planning Commission. See minutes 9-25-72 Section U c on page 2) Violation of Orde 62-33 Section 1159.01 which requires 50 ft. set back. Present: Mr. Clingman, Mr. Yaple, Mr. Erskine, Mr. TrJalck, Mr. Barnes and Mr. Peterson, Witnesses were administered the oath. Lot #4 on drawing is 69 ft. wide. Residents feel home should be placed in center of lot9 this would mean a 35 ft. variance on Lot #43 10 ft. variances on lot #l and 20 ft. variances on Lots #2, #3, and there would be a 50 ft. backyard remaining on Lot #4. Mr. Erskine has 359 fto deep lot and lives next door and objects on basis of overcrowding. Six properties abut his. Another neighbor said something should be built on the lot because weeds, etc. are bad as it is. Qne neighbor stated the lots were designed to be deep lots. Suggestion was made there be only two lots. Objections are because of overcrowding; not because of zoning variance. requte'ste Mr. Roberts moved to continue until December meeting. 9, Duane R. Kinsey, 26893 Sweetbriar Dr. Request for variance (1133.13) for special permit to erect tool shed in violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1133s09a Request is for 62 x 9 ft. prefabricated steel shed. Lot is 70 ft. x 165 ft. Propert,y has 2 car garage but more storage space is needed. Shed is to be built 40 ft. from back of lot and school is behind fence around a school. There is no play yard on school property which faces lot in question. Mrs. Eian moved to grant variance for special permit for 10 x 5 shed to be landscaped with appropriate shrubs. Motion was seconded by Mrr. Roberts and passed 3 - 1. 10. S. DiBenedetto9 23203 I,orain ftd. Request for variance (1133a13)• Request to erect oversize sign for Gold Circle on Brookpark Extension. Violation of Ord. 62-33. Section 1225v02. Present: Mr. DiBenedetto, Mr. Elsey and Mr. Cleary, Mrs. Brown, iMr. Potts Mrso Furman Witnesses were administered the oath. Council.man upeedling's letter of ob- jection to sign was read. Sign is to be 14 ft. in diameter, double face, warm glow, no flashing. Sign is 25 ft. too high and 200 sq. ft. - four times the area and twice the height required by the ordinance. Mrs. Furman objected; Mrs. Brown expressed concern re arding height of this sign and bank sign (Com- munity Nation4lsee Case 3 above?, Mr. Cleary said majority of Pine Fiidge resi- dents do not object to one 35 or 40 ft. sign.
