C requiting 20 ft. <br />from any dctached garage. <br />Present: Ntr. l+deber, Mrse jtireber, Councilman Saringer, Mr. Spiegelberg, Mrs <br />Munday, Mr. and Mrs. Umbert, Mrss Rohr, PRrs. Davis and others. <br />Witnesses were administered the oath. Mr. Weber explained his p12ns znd lay- <br />out. There seemed to be some difference in <;.measurements. Mr. Weber is a <br />builder znd can staing house 2round sideways. The lot is of unusuzl size - <br />it is too sma7.l. Mr. Gundy explzined topography. Curve in LeBern Dr. <br />caused this unusual size lot. Mr. Weber thought he had 601 x 150' lot when <br />the zctual size is 4324 x 150'. Mr. 14unday objected to plan. He said a11 <br />present neighbors have abided by code. Mro Tubbs suggested Mr. Weber flip <br />the house around (place gara.ge on other side), bring it forward and not need <br />a rear yard variance. Mre Lambert asked if there is a just reason for the <br />request for variance. He objects because he can see no cause. I,aws should <br />be upheld. A,4, front yard variance will be need to move house up forward <br />to same distance from sidewalk as neighbors want to avoid taking down exist- <br />ing trees. Mr. Tubbs stated the house will not downgr2de ncighborhood. A <br />homeataner should be able to build house he taants. Mr. Roberts proposed mo- <br />tion for 41 front yard variznce seconded by Mr. Berglund (place garage on <br />other side). Motion passed unanimously. <br />9. Beebc and Elliott, Inc., 5242 Porter Rd. Request for variance (1133.13) to <br />erect a Vertical Pylon-I1luminated 3' x 18' Sign at 27730 Lorain Rd., North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, Pequest is for 2 4' total square footage variance, zs re-- <br />quired by Ord. 62-33 Section 1225.02 E4. <br />Present: Mr. Elliott who Was administered the oath. Proposed sign is of <br />plastic and is supplied by American Motors; it is -to be placed between build- <br />ing and lighted 2rea, Mr. Berglund moved to grant the variznce (with exzct <br />sign location to be designatcd by Safety Director), Mr. Roberts seconded and <br />the motion passed unanimously. <br />End of Hearings. The meeting continued with proposcd suggestions for changes in <br />ordinances. Mr. Berglund believes certain size tool shed should be allowcde <br />specifications for same should include size, location and valuation znd sq.ft. <br />percentage of the open space in rear yard. Zoning Bozrd will request Council to <br />change ordinance to 51 for basketweave and stockade fences and Zoning Board,:does <br />concur with Mrs Breweres suggestion regarding fences i.n 8/22/72 Planning Com- <br />mission minutes. 14r.
