CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED * BOARD OF ZOIVING APPEAI,S <br />Regular Meeting held at City Hall - July 12,1972 <br />The meeting was called to ox°der at 7t35 p.m. by Vice Chairman William Scheef. <br />Presenta Messrs. Scheef, Roberts and Berglund and Mrs. Eian. <br />Also present: Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner,.Virginia Hodgins, Recording ,Sec'y. <br />Mr. Scheef announced that the case of Sparky DiBennedetto, representing Federat- <br />ed Department Store Gold Circle is cancelled. <br />Mr. Scheef and the other Board members akredd that case of Denyse Y. Allen will <br />be heard at the August meeting. Mr. Allen will reapply. <br />lo Appellant: John J. 01.ayas - Continuance of request of N1r. 0layas <br />(representing Matherson Bldg. Co.) 4503 W. 228th Ste Fairview Pk. <br />Property 23654 Gessner Rd. enjoins property 23560 Lorain Rd.,zon- <br />ed commercial and 23654 Gessner is residential. Dariance is re- <br />quested to permit use for recreation area and roadway giving e- <br />gx°ess from Gessner property by using residential single (c) proper- <br />ty. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.01. <br />Presents John J. Olayas. <br />Witness was administered the oath. The lot on Gessner is 134 ft. frontage and <br />will be used for exit only. There is parking for 82 cars underground. Neighbors <br />Were administered the oath. Steve Szitas objects because of traffic congestion. <br />Wayne Miller objects to the swimming pool proposed. , Qzestions arose concerning <br />restrictive rezoning, drainage and whether or not it is good use of the land. <br />Mr. Roberts moved that the request be denied, seconded by Mt°se Eian. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />2. Gregor,y A. Birne - Continuance of request for variance (1133.13) <br />at 23 1Stoneybrook Dr. Request for 10 ft. rear yard variance <br />to enable him to build patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1163.01, which requires a 50 ft. rear yard. <br />Present: Mr. Birney <br />Ziitness was administered the oath. Plans were x°eviewed. NIr. Berglund moved to <br />grant 16 f't. variance. Mrso Eian seconded and the motion passed. <br />3. Appellants Will,y Franks, 4605 Berger Ave., Cleveland) Ohio. Re- <br />quest is continuance from June 28 meetinge Request for variance <br />(1133.13). Request to build at 4154 Dover Center Rdo Request for <br />201 Sqo Ft. variance in violation of Orde 62-33 Section 1157.01. <br />Fresent: Mr. and Mrs. Franks <br />ZtiTitnesses were administered the oath. Mrs. Eian had visited the site earlier <br />and found small homes9 large homes, old homes and new homes in the area. Mr. <br />Roberts moved to grant variance of 201 sq. ft. Motion was seconded by Mrs. <br />Eian and passed.
