Zoning Boa.rd needs plari for signs for entire shopping <br />center. IvLr. Roberts su ggests temporary sign tiahile plans for entire area are stud- <br />ied. Mr. Karnis would like another pole sign but this is the one he needs the most <br />(for the beverage store) the other businesses are doing all right. Mra Roberts <br />moved to grant variance for 8 ft. x 10.ft. pole sign; seconded by Illr. Berglund, <br />This motion does not establish precedent; it is based on hardship and is to be <br />revie-vred in 9 months. The intEnt is to remove Sign when shopping center is es- <br />tablished. Motion passede <br />12. Appellant: Wm. Stambough9 5763 Bra.dley Rd. Request for variance <br />(1133.13) Request G ft. variance from house to garage to enable <br />him to roof patio. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04 Par. <br />C which stipula-tes there must be 20 ft. bettueen house and garage. <br />Present: Mr. Stambough. <br />Witness was administered the oath. Mr. Stambough showed his plans and stated he <br />plans to tie into present roof line. He has discussed plans with neighbors and <br />they do not object. Mrsa Eian moved to grant 16 ft. variance from house to gar- <br />age to permit roofing of patio. Mr. Berglund seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br />13. Appellant:George A. Lahl, 23045 Clifford Dr. Request for variance <br />(1133°13). Request is for 5 ft. vaxiance from house to garage to <br />enable him to add to non-conforming buiZding. Violation of Ord, <br />62-33 Section 1231.02. <br />Pre sent : N1r. . Tahl <br />Witness was adrninistered the oath. He plans enlargement of his house. This <br />was originally planned and presented in 1967. 10 additional parking spaces are <br />to be placed nearbya There is need for community bldg. which is to be located <br />within center of complex and mostly restricted for tenan.ts. Bldg. to be 4,000 <br />sq. ft of brick and heavy timber with terrace. To be controlled by resident <br />manager and security patrols Cost - $100'000 to $125,000 unfurnished. Mr. <br />Roberts moved to gxarrt special permit for club house. Motion seconded by Mrs. <br />Eian and passed.
