Board of Zoning Appeals - 5/3/72 Page 2 <br />4. Appellant: Fern Umble, 23084 MacBeth Ave. Request for variance <br />(1133.13) to erect 24 ft. x40 ft, addition to dwelling. Request <br />is for 17 ft. reax ,pard variance in violation of Ord. #62-33 which <br />requires minimum depth of the back yard to be 50 ft. <br />i'resent: Fern Umble and many neighbors. <br />Witnesses were sworn in. Plans for the building and pictures of neighboring <br />properties were shotian. Fern Umble stated that she ha5 meetings in her home; <br />shares her home mith friends and needs larger space. There were no objections <br />for anyone present. Mrs. Eian moved to grant 33 ft. variance for addition to <br />existing residence on one side of lot according to plan shown. Mr. Roberts <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />5. Appellant: Donald S. and Nancy H. Frazier, 23891 Ambour Drive <br />Request for variance #1133.13) to erect a 6 ft. privacy fence <br />of cedar or redwood along rear side yard. Violation of Ord. <br />#62-33 Section 1151.04 limiting height of fence to four ft. <br />Presant: Mr. Frazier <br />14itness was s-worn in. He would like 32 ft. fence on west side of property for <br />privacy. Mr:,aRoberts moved to grant the variance, seconded by N1rs. Eian. 1?Io- <br />tion carried. <br />6. Appellant: Hennie Homes, Inc. Request for variance (1133m13) of <br />3 ft. on the side ,yard for residence to be built in Sandy Ridgo <br />Subdivision #b between Edge Park Blvd. and Blossom 331vds at <br />3943 Wood Park Lane. Request is in violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1159.02 which requires 25 ft. side yard on corner lote <br />Present: Mr. Walter Zaelke and 14r. Puzzitiello - case to be continued because <br />Hartman neighbors were not notified. <br />7. Appellant: Hennie Homes' 28018 Edgepark Drive. Request for vari- <br />ance (1133.13) for residence to be built at above address in Sandy <br />Ridge Subdivision #6 between Pine Circlo and Wood Park Lane. Re- <br />quest is for 1.0 ft. side yard variance (violation of Ord. #62- <br />33 Section 1159.,02 which re.quires 25 ft. side yard on corner lot) <br />and 8.66 fte rear .yard variance (violation of Ord. #62-33 Section <br />1163.01 which requires minimum depth of the back yard to be 50 ft. <br />Present: Mr. Ifielke and Mr. Puzzitiello of Hennie Homes, 14r. and Mrs. Gonzalas, <br />and Mr. R. J. Zella. Witnesses were sworn in. Mr. Puzzitiello presented plans <br />for split level. Mr. Zel1a, next door neighbor, objects on the grounds that his <br />view is obstructedo The colonial model -paould not block Mr. Zellats view so much. <br />He suggests the colonial model be built facing Edgepark Drive. Mra Roberts mova <br />ed to deny the variance seconded by Mrs. Eian. Motion carried. <br />12. Appellant: Hennie Homes' 24441 Carla Lane. Request to erect a <br />dwelling on S/L 35 with a 34 ft. rear yard. Request is in viola- <br />tion of Ord. #62-33, Section 1163.01' which r equires a 50 ft. <br />rear yarde <br />Presents Mr. Welke and Mr. Puzzitiello. Witneases were sworn in. Plans were <br />presented with request for 16 ft. rear yard variance. It was stated that de- <br />mensions of proposed homp had been changed since 14 ft. variance was granted
