_, -, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMTED - BOARD.OF ZONING APPEAIS <br />Special Meeting held at Cit,y Hall - March 8.9 1972 <br />The meeting was czlled to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman William Tubbs <br />Present: Mr. Tubbs, Mr. Berglund, Mrs. Eizn, Mr..Roberts znd Mr. Gundy, Bldg. Comm. <br />Minutes of the March 1, 1972 meeting were a.ccepted with the correction of spelling <br />of Mr. Margolius' name. <br />1. Appellznt: Bzuer Development - continuztion of request for <br />15' variance on the front setback of S/z 2053 27401 Nzntucket <br />Drive, North Olmsted. Request is 3n viol.ztion of Ord. #62-33, <br />which requires a 501 front yard. <br />Present: Paul Szgler, Jr., representing Mr. Bzuar, Louise Karkut; Wm. S. Freeh <br />spokesman for the Olmsted Woods Home Ownerr Association, Inc., Ray- <br />mond Nieberdirig, Robert Staliley. Witnesses were 5worn in. <br />Mr. Szyler explained that this was not orioiiiall,y designed as a cul de sac street, <br />but the stzte highway came along and took some of the la nd so the cul de sac was <br />designad and dediczted for safety, service, etc. Some of the lots becsune mis- <br />shapan beczuse of'this. A house built on S/L 205 with the proper set back would <br />be hidden and very sm,all. House designs were shown. Adjoining homeowners had <br />questions regzrding varianees snd zorii.ng lzws. They showed concern about this <br />sub lot zs well zs the two to be co nsidered under Itcros"2 and 3. Mr. Stzhley <br />suggested the house to be built on sl1 205 bE the same model and demension 2s <br />the home alydzdy built on S/L 198, the etCalifornian'° model. Mrs. Eian moved to <br />grant the variance. 14r. Roberts seconded tha motion. The motion passed unani- <br />mously. <br />2. Appellant: $auer Development - continuation of request for <br />151 variance on thc front setback of 3/L 203,27406 Nantucket Dr. <br />Dlorth Olmsted. Request is in violation of Ord. 62-33, whieh <br />requires a 501 front yard. <br />Present: aame as abovej, already sworn in. <br />Diseussion ineluded in abovc. Mr. Berglund moved' seconded by M^. Roberts thAt <br />z 15' variance be granted on S/L 203. The motion passed unznimously. <br />?3. Appellznt: Bzuer Development - continuztion'of request for <br />151 vzriance on the front setback of S/L 204, 27416 Nzntucktt <br />Dr., North Olmsted. Request is in violztion of Ord. 62-33, which <br />requires a 50' front yard. <br />Present: Same as those zppearing for Item 1, already sworn in. <br />Discussion included S/L 204 earlier in the meeting. Mr. Berglund seconded the motion. <br />The motion pnssed unanimously.
