Halleen, Carl Halleen, Nlr. and Mrs. DePaola, Mrs. Louis <br />Simony, Mr. Zubricky, representing citizens' committee and Mr. David <br />Kessler, representing Ascension Lutheran Church, Mrs. Zipp. <br />All witnesses were sworn in. After Mr. Halleen stated his plans and depicted <br />the overcrowded conditions at his business establishment and man,y objections <br />made, it was dGCided by the Board to continue this czse. Thus tkie Bo.Jrd mem- <br />bers will have thc opportunity to look at thc property and hopefully at the <br />April meeting there wil-l be a full Board decision. <br />3. Appellznt: Robert Kopzs, 23046 Summeriznd. Reque st for specizl <br />permit as required by Ord. 1133.13 to make living room larger, <br />rccnove partition of bed foom closet and existing front wall. Re- <br />quest is in viol.atiori of Ord. 62-33 Section 1231.02 which does <br />not allow additions to non-conforming buildings. <br />Pres ent: Robert Kopas <br />Mr. Kopas was sworn in. Plzns were presented. Mr. Kopas explained he wishes <br />to fill out indented corner 7 ft. to the 5ide and 62 ft. to the front to match <br />existing house. Mrs. Eizn moved to grant special permit for proposed addition <br />as described on pl2ri. Mr. Roberts seconded. The three members present voted <br />in favor and the motion passed. <br />It. Appellant: Jack Rybar, 6042 Dceker Rd. - Request for variance <br />zs required by Ord. 1133•13. Reqtacst is for 3£t. resr yzrd <br />variance and 3 ft. side yard variance to build detached garage. <br />Request is in violztion of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04 - detzch- <br />ed garage requires a 5 ft. rear znd 5 ft side line. <br />Present: Jack-Rybar <br />Mr. Rybar was sworn in. Plans werepresented. Mr. Rybar showed how close <br />drivewzy is to house. By moving the gzrage 2 ft.to the side znd 2 ft. baclc <br />the curve in the drivewzy will be grea.tly lessened., providing greater clear- <br />ance in driving past thc house and into the garage. Mrs. Eian moved to grart <br />z 3 ft side yzrd variance znd a 3 ft back yzrd variznce. Mr. Roberts second- <br />ed. The three members present eoted in fagor and the mo tio n passed. <br />5. Appellant: Carl Bower, 5hore West Construction Co. Request <br />for variance required by Ord. 1133.13. Request is to construct <br />rssidence zt 4586 Michael Ave. The request is for z 15 ft. <br />variance on the side line of z corner lot; in violation of <br />Ord. 62-33 Section 1159.01 requiring 25 ft side line. <br />Present: Czrl BoYaer and Fred Bower and scveral adjoining neighbors. <br />Witnesse5 were sworn in. Plans were preserrted. A house buil& on this lot <br />without the side line variance would be smallcr znd would not rratch the other <br />homes in the aren. The house 2s planned will line up with homcs on Georgette. <br />Mr, Roberts moved to grant the 15 ft. side yard variance to permit construc- <br />tion in zecordance with the sketch Xmeserrted. Motion was seconded by Mrs. <br />Eian. The motion passed ?jith the uranimous vote of the three members present.
