BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS - 1/5/72- Page 4 <br />9m Appellant: Assembly of God Church, 3874 Columbia Rdo - Request to build <br />an addition to existing church in residential district. Request is in <br />violation of Ord. #62-33, Section 1151.01 (E)9 which states in As B9 & <br />C Residence Districts land may be used and buildings or structures may <br />be designed, built, alterred, or used for (E) places of worship provided <br />there is issued by the Board a special permit for such use as provided in <br />Section 1133.12 of the Zoning Code. <br />Present: Mr, Don Rake, representative of the church, Mrso J. C. Baker' Norbert Fox. <br />All witnesses were sworn in. Mr. Rake presented pl.ansm Mrs. Baker inquired where a1,1 <br />the cars would be parked as they are now using Mr0 Ackroys's property. She would 1.ike <br />the easement taken off of Mr. Ackroyd°s propertya Tira Norbert Fox said that it has <br />become a lovers lane back there. A discussion was held. Mrm Roberts moved to grant <br />a specia1 request for the addition on the church; seconded by Ntr. Scheef and unanimously <br />approved. <br />10. Appellant: North 01.msted Board of Education - Request for variance (1133.13) <br />to erect 61 fence from the Midvale entrance to North 01.msted High School to <br />the southern point of Northern and from the northern point of Northern <br />Avenue to a point opposite the southern end of the Service Center of the <br />west prooerty 7ine of the SecondarTJ School site. Request is in violation <br />of Ord. #62-33, Section 1151.04, fence not to exceed 4t in height. <br />Present: Mrm Storch, representing the school, Mrs. Rose Udoods, Mr. Car1 Swick, Mr. Caster. <br />A11 witnesses taere sworn in. Mr. Roberts asked if the school is proposing a sidewalk <br />',here. He was told they are not. Mr. Storch said that the Board of Education does not <br />aant the fence closed off because it provides a paint of access. Mr. Roberts asked why <br />they want that open part. Nlr. Storch said it is strictly as a wa1.k in access at this <br />timee Mr. Car1 Swick9 wanted to know what vrould be the opposition of putting a gate <br />across. The gate could be opened..?.Mrs. E. Woods was in favor of the fencee but the <br />students will cut through her yard if the fence is not continuede Mr. Caster said <br />that this is a good start in the right direction. Mr. Storch said that people have <br />to spend money to protect their own property.
