PL4NNING CONFICSSION - 1/11/72 - Page 2 <br />(c) Ohio Bell - Mr. Gundy presented plans. Ohio Be11 is asking for permission <br />to add a second floor addition to this existing building, which is to be <br />used for equipmentm The parking area would remain the same. Mr. Davis <br />moved to approve the parking layout; seconded by Mr. Richards and <br />unanimously approved. <br />(d) Convenient Food Mart - Mr°e Gundy received a letter from the City <br />Engineer oroposing a temporary parking area for Convenient Food Mart <br />at Dover Center Rd. Mr. Swarzer was present. Mra Isonard said that <br />there should be no trucks parki.ng at the side9 since they have a <br />back entrance. Mr. Davis made a motion to reject the proposalo NLr. <br />Ilav-is withdrew his motion. The Planning Commission has no authority <br />to okay temporary parki.ng. Mr. Schwarzer withdrew his proposal and <br />wi11 take it before the Board of Zoning Appeals. <br />IV. Old Business <br />(a) Saks Rezoning - Mr. Saks and Mr°o Goldberg wex°e present. The Planning <br />Commission had received 7 letters and a petition with 17 signaturesy <br />a11 stating that they are against the proposed rezoning of this siteo <br />Mr. Ledvina had received a few phone ca11s on this matter. A neighbor <br />t.ranted to know why she had to go through this procedure three times, <br />Mr. Ledvina said that the pl.ans have been changed a.n some way or other <br />each time. Any group can appeal for rezoning. Mr. I,eonard moved that <br />this proposal be rejected because of poor planning; seconded by Mr. <br />Davis and unanimously a.greed. <br />F. New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Biskind-Szarka Subdivision and Rezoning - Dave Ransbury presented plans. <br />This 3.s known as Bretton Ridge Subdivision #5o They request to make 3 <br />B 1ots out of previously zoned retail propertyo The entire parcel is <br />presently zoned retail. This would take part of Mr. Szarka's back lot. <br />Mr. Davis moved to approve the subdivision. The matter was tabled until <br />a discussion between Mr. 5zarka and Ntr. Biskind was held. i4r. Ledvina <br />then moved to resume the matter of Biskind-Szarka; seconded by Mr. <br />Byers and unanimously agreed. Mr. Davis withdrew his motionm Mr. Byers <br />moved to put this back into the committee of the whole; seconded by Mr. <br />Davis and unanimously agreede <br />(bl Bower Subdivision - Dave Ransbury presented-.plans. This subdiv;tsion is <br />1ocated on Michael Avenue south of Iorain Rdm It runs just West and <br />para11e1 with Brendan Laneo This subdivision is presently Mul-tiple <br />Residence. They propose to reduce three lots from 65' to 60' and <br />also vacate Margo A venuem Mr. Prokasy thought this was a good Zdeao <br />Mr. Leonard moved to vacate Margo and subdivide and.create 9 1ots; <br />seconded by Mra Dava.s and unanimously approved.
