Needed <br />is composite temporary sign crdinance, <br />The Secretary read the Planning Commission Annual Report. The <br />Recording Secretary was asked to make copies of the Planning Com- <br />mission Annual Report and to make an up to date list of all Board <br />and Commission members. <br />IX. At 10:00 p.m. Chairman Davis reintroduced Mr. Svoboda of Regional <br />Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Svoboda epened this part of the meeting by asking for questi:ons <br />regarding the Commercial Plan presented by him to this group at an <br />earlier meeting. A specific question ?,?as asked regarding the com- <br />mercial planning across from the park. The Citizens' Advisor.y Com- <br />mittee needs interchange study and zkxll then know overall plan for <br />interchange plan. Next u?ill be presentation of communit.y facilities <br />plana There will be change in approach of final reports. During <br />the middle of hpril recommendations will bE needed for eapital im- <br />provements, implementation elements and zoning regulations. These <br />will be published at end of May. Nr. Svoboda rnentioned extension <br />of time, beyond May, because the plan was not started on time. <br />Mr. Svoboda then distributed copies of Industrial plan and ac- <br />companying maps. The maps showed Industrial Park planned complete <br />with roads. The desaxability of the location was cited. The ob- <br />jective of roads as designed vas to keep industrial traffic off <br />existing streets. Table I indicates the number of acres avail- <br />able and thei.r location and topography. The existing golf course <br />use could be continued and used as buffer. Tables 2 and 3 indicate <br />acres, buffers and coverage. At 25% building cover9 the 1Vorth <br />0lmsted Industrial Park has a total floor area potential of 2,85 <br />million square feet, exclusive of multis-tory development. kssum- <br />ing 500 sq. ft. of floor area per employee, the North Olmsted In- <br />dustrial Park has a capability of nearly 6,000 job opportunities. <br />The followa.ng pages of the report discuss Community Improvement <br />Corp. <br />It was mentioned income that could be attained from development <br />of the Tndustrial Park would lend itself taell to the enrichment <br />of the community. Area B on the map could be made to fit with <br />Olmsted Township. Mr. Richards suggested removing 60 ft. in <br />rear and making marginal road.
