PLANNTNG COrMISSION <br />October 23, 1973 <br />I. Ro11 Call <br />Chairman Davis called the meeting to order at 8«00 p,m. <br />Present: Chairman Davis, Secretary Elliott, Messrs. <br />Richards, Brewer, Ledvina and Tischler. <br />Also presentr Mr. Karhan, City Engineer, NJrs. Hodgins, <br />Recording Secretary, Mr. Caster, Service <br />Director and Councilmen Saringer, Prokasy <br />and West. <br />II. Reading and Correction of Minutes <br />Mr. LEdvina moved to accept minutes of October 9 meeting <br />as received, seconded by Mr. Elliott. Minutes were un- <br />animously accepted. <br />III. Building Department Requests - No Items <br />IV. Old Business <br />(a) City Line Subdivision #2 and 3 <br />Mro Ledvina moved to continueo Mr. Brewer seconded <br />and motion passed. <br />(b) Columbia Village <br />Chairman Davis and Secretary Elliott had visited Great <br />Northern Village (behind Great Northern Shopping Center, <br />now under construction by the developers of Columbia <br />Village)o Chairman Davis would like the other members <br />of Planning Commission to look at Great Northern Vil- <br />lage. Af-ter much discussion Nr. Ledvina moved to place <br />back in committeea Mr. Brewer seconded the motion. <br />There was further discussion with Mr. Stokes, the de- <br />veloper, explaining plans, etc. Mr. Brewer called the <br />questiono Time was agreed upon to inspect Great North- <br />ern Village (4:00 pom. Monday, Oct. 29, meeting on <br />premises). Mro I,edvina called the questione Vote to <br />place back in committee was unanimous. <br />(c) Deerpath Subdivision #5 Improvement Plans <br />Cost figures were explained by Engineer Karhan. Mra <br />Clingman was present and there was considerable dis- <br />cussion. Yx. C3.ingman wants only to put in the four <br />lots. Mr. West stated city wi11 derive no benefit.
