Board of Zoning Appeals 5-23-73 <br />-3- <br />Ord. 62-33 Section 1151004 (C) which requires 15 ft. between proposed <br />garage addition a.nd adjacent dwelling. <br />Present: Mr. and Mrs. Croston and Mr. Hansen. Witnesses were admini- <br />stered the oath. Request is for 2 ft. variance on east side of house. <br />Mr. Hansen recognizes the need but he does raise objection inasmuch as <br />addition will be too close to his homea Mr. Roberts moved to continue <br />so Board can examine premises. <br />5. George k'ing, 4399 Silverdale Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Re- <br />quest for special permit to erect tool shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1133.090 <br />Presentt Mr. Wing. Witness was administered the oath. Mr. Scheef <br />read the case. 13 ft. x 11 ft. tool shed is proposed. Neighbors he <br />has contacted do not object. There are hedges and trees on property. <br />Mr. Roberts moved to grant special permit for tool shed to be erected <br />12 ft. off line with appropriate landscaping, especially to the rear. <br />Mrs. Eian seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />6. John W. Mahlmeister, L105 Columbia Rd. Request for variance (1133•13) <br />Request for ft. variance between dwelling and garage to enable him <br />to build addition to dwelling. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section llsl. <br />04 (C ). <br />Present: Mro and Mrs. Mahlmeister, Mr. and Mrs. Carlin and James Car- <br />lin. Witnesses were administered the oath. Mr. Scheef read the case. <br />Mr. Scheef reviewed plans. Mr. Carlin made statement against proposed <br />plan. Considerable discussion followed, deeds for both properties were <br />presented, also petition signed by a1l other neighbors in favor of the <br />plan. It was suggested survey be made to verify the 5 ft. Mr. Roberts <br />moved 6 fte variance be granted for placement of addition in relation <br />to garage and addition be built so it does not encroach more than 5 ft. <br />from property line. Mr. Hamill seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />7. Charles Tatka, 2433 Pa1m Drive. -Request for variance (1133•13) for <br />special permit to erect tool shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section <br />11.33. 09. <br />Present: Mro Tatka. Witness was administered the oath. Mr. Scheef <br />read the request for steel storage shed 8 ft. x 10 ft. x 7 ft. in height <br />on concrete. Photos of backyard were examined. Houses are 200 to 250 <br />fto from rear. There is serious drainage problem on the property. .A. <br />surveyor is attempting to swail the area. Final permit is subject to <br />engineering department approval. Lot is 180 fto deep. 65 ft. from house <br />is first choice for Iocation of tool shed. However, it might have to be <br />moved forward 10 ft. Mr. Hamill moved to grant variance for special <br />permit for tool shed 8 ft. x 10 ft. x 7 ft. with final permit subject <br />to engineering department approval and landscaping. Mrs. Eian seconded <br />and motion passed. <br />8. Hennie Homes - Request withdrawn.
