Zoning Board of Appeals 1-10-73 - 3- <br />noted improvements that could 'oe made in plan to enable Nir. B2dnar <br />to gain more distance between himself and neighbor. 14r. Berglund <br />moved for 2 ft. variance on the north to enable Mr. Bednar to build <br />addition to house; 1 ft. variance on east side for 21 ft. x 21 ft. <br />garage; 5 ftm rear yard variance for proposed addition to house; <br />3 ft. variance for proposed addition to garage. Mr. Scheef second- <br />ed and the motion passed. <br />5. Kim Dimitropoulos, 27195 Lorain Rd. Request for variance (1133•13). <br />Request for special permit to build addition to non-conforming bldg. <br />Violation of Ordv 62-33 Section 1231.02 (13) (2)., <br />Present: NTro llimitropoulos, vlr. and Mrs. Rose and Councilman Geisser. <br />Witnesses were administered the oath. It was explained the addition <br />is to be covered walkways to buildings housing rest rooms. 14r. and <br />Mrs. Rose complained again (See Dec. 13 min.) about Dealers Outlet. <br />There was no objection to enclosure of the walkways. Mr. Scheef moved <br />to grant special permit. Mr. Roberts seconded and the motion passed. <br />?i. Edward Bedford, 5700 Allendale Ave. Request for variance (1133.13). <br />Request for variance (1133•13)• Request for 16 ft. rear yarc3 variance <br />in violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1163.01 requiring 50 fto rear vard. <br />Present: Mra and Mrs. Bedford and Councilman Geisser. Witnesses were <br />administered the oath. There were descriptions of proposed addition, <br />owners' property and adjoining properties. Mr. Roberts moved ta grant <br />16 ft. rear yard variance. Mr. Lerglund seconded and the motior, pass- <br />ed. <br />6. Shore West Construction, 5996 Louis Dr. Request for side yard vari- <br />ance on corner lot 1133.13) Uiolation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1159.02 <br />which requires 25 ft. setback. Request is for property at 4618 Michael <br />Ave. <br />Present: 14r. Bauer, Fred Bauer. Witnesses were administered the oath. <br />Plans are for a 3 bedroom split level homee Lot is 6h ft. x. 180 ft. <br />All corner lots in the area are too small to allota 25 ft. side yard set- <br />backo Mr. Scheef moved variance be granted. Nir. Roberts seconded the <br />motion. Affirmative vote: Scheef, Roberts and Berglund. Negative: <br />Mr. Tubbs. Motion passEde <br />7. Chinese Palace, ?624 Great Northern Blvda Request for variance (11;3. <br />13). Request for spec?al permit to erect oversize sign for restaurant. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1225.02. Alsoy allowable square foot- <br />age for signs for area has been usedo <br />lresent: Chu Yung, Julia Brown and _t,:.P.Cutler. Witnesses were ad- <br />ministered the oath.
