Board of Zoning Appeals 7-10-74 <br />_2_ <br />3. James E. Shaw, 4586 Michael Ave. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for 22 ft. variance for corner lot. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04. <br />Present: Mrs. James E. Shaw. Case was read. Witness was administered the <br />oath. Drawing of fence location was explained. Mr. Tubbs moved <br />22 ft. side yard vari.ance be granted for height limitation of 52 <br />ft. fence. Mr. Ledvina seconded. Motion passed unanimouslg. <br />4. Daniel J. Caldwell., 5068 West Park Drive. Request for variance (1133.13). Re- <br />quest for 14 ft. rear yard variance for 24318 Noreen Drive. VUlation 6f?,f.f3rd. <br />62-33 Section 1163.01. <br />, <br />Preaent: Mr. Caldwell and Councilman Saringer. Case a d u st were read. <br />Lot is 65 x 135 ft. on which 7 ft. rear yardas???a?nted eaitl'ner <br />Nbrs. Saringer said drainage could be a problem.. Footers are poured. <br />fteamining rear yard will be 28 ft. Mr. Ledvina moved to reject re- <br />request. Mr. Tubbs seconded and motion passed. Request was rejected. <br />5. Joseph A. Cihy, 5141 Whitethorn Ave. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for special permit for tool shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04. <br />Present: N1r. Cihy. Chairman Hamill read request and appeal of request. Chr. <br />Hami11 had examined premises and found property to be heavily shrubbed. <br />TATitness was administered the oath. 10 ft. x l5 ft. tool shed is plan- <br />ned. Mr. Roberts moved to grant sgecial permit for tool shed to be <br />shrubbed to blend with local terrain. Mr. Ledvina seconded and motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />6. Ronald D. Branstien, 24883 Doe Dr. Request for variance (1133.13)• Request <br />for 3 ft. side yard variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Sectian 1161.01. <br />Present: Mr. Branstien. Request and explanation were read. Witness was ad- <br />ministered the oath. Variances have been granted to others on.the <br />street for the same purpose (1?riveway and garage). Mr. Tubbs moved <br />to grant 3 ft. side yard variance. Mr. Roberts seconded and motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />7. Caroline Dingress, 4656 Dover Center Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Re- <br />quest for 1 ft. variance for front fence. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.0h. <br />Present: Mr. and Mrs. Dingress, Mr. and Mrs. Drellis bak, Mrs. Mertus and Mr. <br />Krovell. Case was read. Witnesses were administered the oath. Reason <br />for appeal iias read (problem with neighbors and animals. 12 in. chain <br />link fence variance is requested for front setback. Neighbors think <br />proposed fence will be hazard for traffic and unattractive. Pictures <br />were exhibited. Mr. Ledvina moved to reject. Mr. Tubbs seconded. <br />Messrs. Ledvina, Tubbs and Hami11 voted aye. Mr. Roberts voted nay. <br />Motion to x;eject proposal passed. <br />8. Kenneth M.'Paradise, 25870 Lorain Rd. Request for variance (1133.13)0 Request <br />for oversize pole sign (2d pole sign. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section I225.02. <br />Present: Mr. Paradise and Mr. Paradise (father and son). Request and appeal <br />were read. Witnesses were administered the oath. Appeal is in re- <br />gard to Honda identification sign. Uritness described existing and <br />proposed signs. There is variance on existing sign. Sign plan was <br />shown. Franchise signs are leased. Mr. Lednina moved to reject. <br />N1r. Tubbs seconded. Messrs. LBdvina, Tubbs and Roberts voted aye.
