Tischler reported on Recreation Commission Committee meet- <br />ing of February 4, 1974• The Committee considered budget and <br />timetable for Recreation Centero Fina1 recommendations are to <br />be ready April 1. Committee had looked at specific possibili- <br />ties of changes, alternatives, prices, Mro Prokasy volunteer- <br />ed to serve on the Committee since Mr. Davis will be out of <br />towno Chairman Richards thanked Mr. grokasy but stated he <br />would prefer to have more people involved since Mre Prokasy <br />has been deeply involved in Recreation Commissiono <br />VIIIo New Business <br />(a) Chairman Richards asked for reaffirmation of operation <br />of Planning Commission under Ordinance dated 3/23/65 per- <br />taining to Rules and Regulations of Planning Commission. <br />Mro Prokasy moved to operate under sameo Mro Brewer <br />seconded and motion passed. <br />(b) Mro Prokasy spoke of the proposed I-480o He stated there <br />have been twelve years of waiting, 000,000 loss in prop- <br />erty taxes. Economic hardships exist for property owners <br />and businesses on Great Northern Boulevard. I-90iwas built <br />because of pressure and this is a political year.
