I <br />1'lann3.ng Commission 4-23-74 <br />- 2 - <br />to be controlled runoff retention area. Mrs. Sar- <br />inger recommended underground retention basin. Mr. <br />Brewer moved to place plan in committee for consider- <br />ation by the engineer. Mr. Tischler seconded. Mr. <br />Goggin asked about fencing. Mr. Frank Maher, a neigh- <br />bor, asked about headlights shining into his property. <br />NIr. Brewer read recommendation of Planning to Council <br />regarding buffer strip. The motion to place in com- <br />mittee passed unanimously. <br />(2) Tuffy Muffler Shop - West Park & Lorain <br />N:r. Gundy introduced the plan. Mr. Stringer and Mr. <br />Biskind came before the commission at this time. Mr. <br />Biskind gave history of property, ownership and re- <br />zonin.g. After court cases and subdivision the resub- <br />divis ?.?;_" :aas -vccated and rees-?"blished to the original <br />sub lots 1, 2, 3 and 4m A neighbor, Frank Zoller, said <br />he disagrees with 14r. Biskind's statement in one respect. <br />The driveway north of Pure Oil station is included in <br />proposal. Proposal is to have 110.93 ft. frontage on <br />Lorain Rd. Mr. Stringer presented plans and architect's <br />rendering. There are to be three items of work in the <br />shop - mufflers, exhaust systems, shocks and some brake <br />work. It is to be a 9 to 5 operation, never at night and <br />never on Sunday. 30 to 35 cars per 'ay are to be accom- <br />modated. Deliveries are to be once every two weeks for <br />I 1/2 hours. It is to be a brick bLiilding and Mro Bis- <br />kind is selling property to Tuffy c-;::`cright. Rubbish is <br />to be collected on weekly basis. ''i'r:-3re is provision <br />_ for future expansion. 7173 W. 130tti Sto, Parma is lo- <br />cation of Tuffy Muffler Shopo Mr. Leonard, Mr. and Mrs. <br />Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Luffin, Mr. Huntington, Mr. Zoller <br />all had questions concerning the proposal. Mr. Tischler <br />moved to place proposal into committee in anticipation <br />of opinion from Law Director Gareau. Mrs. Eian second- <br />edo Motion passed, <br />IV. Old Business <br />(a) Rezoning at Country Club Blvd. ' Victoria ?lane - Interfaith <br />Housing of Noxth Olmsted <br />Mre Biskind came before the Commission and stated changes <br />are to be reflected in zoning changes. I4re Prokasy moved <br />to keep in committee at request of developer. Mrs. Fian <br />seconded and motion passe@. <br />V. New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Jenkins Rd. Improvement Plans (Jenkins Rd. off 14artin Drive) <br />Assembled before the Commission at this time were Mr. Bauer <br />Mrs. Lambin and Mr, and Mrs. Storch. Mr. NIcDermott said pre- <br />liminary plan has been accepted; he presented plans for storm <br />sewer, paving and sa,dewalks to accommodate 8 sub lots.
