I Planning Commission 5728-74 - 2 - <br />(b) Stearns Rd. Subdivision (Bicskind) - Adjustment of subdivision <br />previously approved by Planning Commission 10-10-72 <br />Engineer McDermott distributed adjusted plot plans as request- <br />ed by Planning Commission members at last meeting. Chairman <br />Richards gave review of plans for resubdivision and chronology <br />of events to present. Mr. Prokasy moved to approve proposed <br />Stearns Rd. subdivision. Mr. Brewer seconded and motion passed. <br />(c) Trotwood Subdivision (Clingman) - Clague and Mastick Rds. - A <br />new layout formerly submitted and ap proved (Scholz Subdivision). <br />There appeared before the commission at this time Mr. and Mrs. <br />Frindt, Nir. Clingman, Pirs. Audrey Kain and others. Mr. McDermott <br />distributed site map and plot plans to members. Mr. Clingman <br />stated three things are needed: (1) Approval of single family <br />platted lots along Mastick for Class A residential;(P approval of <br />layout of multifamily subdivision; and rezoning request. Dis- <br />cussion ensued regarding drainage, retention basin, topography of <br />land and traffic on Clague Rd, Planning Commissioners were told <br />by the acting engineer that it is devel.oper's responsibility to <br />handle water drainage. Mr. Prokasy moved for approval of rezon- <br />ing from residential to multifamily on lines indicated on map and <br />approval of subdivision request including parcel to be acquired <br />by Mr. Frindt. Mr. Tischler seconded. Messrs. Prokasy, Tisch- <br />ler, Brewer and Richards voted aye. Mr. Davis voted nay. Motion <br />passed. Mr. Clingman requested permission to add to plan maxi- <br />mum depth of 1 ft. for retention basins. Three minute recess <br />was declared. Upon resuming the meeting Mr. Prokasy moved traf- <br />fic patterns and pa xking and multifamily proposal bounded by <br />Brookpark Rdo, Clague Rd. and Mastick be approved. Mr. Brewer <br />seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />V. New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Chrysler Subdivision - 20 sub lots - Preliminary and Improvement <br />Plans (west extension of titi'illet Rd.) (Resubmission of previously <br />approved 18 lot subdivision <br />Engineer Andreano and representative of Chrysler Corp. appeared <br />before the Commission. Preliminary plan was approved 2-26-74. <br />Neva plan shows lots turned around and some of the retention area <br />used. Mr. Prokasy moved to approve revised subdivision as pre- <br />sented. Mr. Davis secondede Messrs. Prokasy, Davis, Brewer and <br />Tischler voted ayem Mr. Richa rds voted nay. Motion passed. P?Ir. <br />Davis moved for approval of improvement plans for Chrysler Sub- <br />division. Mr. Prokasy seconded. Motion passed unanimously. <br />VI. Communications <br />Reference was made by Chairman Richards to two letters received from <br />Mayor Christman. One letter pertained to overpass on I-480. Second <br />letter told of offer of North Olmsted Chamber of Commerce to install <br />6 ft. x 8 ft. movable letter sign for communitJ information in front <br />of new police station.
