,r-- : . . Planning Commission 11--12-74 VIZ. Committee Reports ? -5 - Mr. Tischler reported the Recreation Committee had done no further work in reg:rd to the bike trail. Mre Prokasy had report from Mayor Christman spelling out in words what the map shows. Approval of over- all plan seems to be recommended by the administration to enable use of available fundso A member of audience said he had further informa- tion which he wi11 submit to Secretary Hodgins. Mr. Tischler said it is the feeling of the committee they did not want bike path in Zor- ain Road. There was proposal for cycling at high speeds on roads para- llel to I,orain Road) and again question of maintenance. The Commission wants it to go forward quickly but correctly. Mr. Px°okasy said the ad- ministration is aware there might be amendments at later date. Changes and recommendations must go through Planning Commission and Council. Mr. Frokasy moved this Commission approve the plan and recommend sub- mission to NOACA, Ns, Tischler seconded the motion. Mr. Tischler mov- ed to amend the motion to include Fitch Road designated as Class III and Lorain Road be redesignated from Class II to Class IIT, Nlrs. Eian seconded the amendment. Amendment passed. Motion passede VTII. New Business Nention Vaas made by Engineer McDermott Columbia Village will appear before Zoning Board tomorrow night (11-13-74). Mrse Eian requested Secretary Hodgi.ns to write letters to neighboring Communities in regard to Boards of Architectural Review requesting in- formation regarding same. Mrs. Eian also requested Secretary Hodgins to obtain map of Bradley 11oods section of Metropolitan Park. IXe Adjournment< NIr. Roberts moved to excuse the absences of Messrs.
