, -AP - <br />PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MI1oTUTES OF DECEMBER 12, 2012 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Ms. Meredith called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.in. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: Melissa Meredith, Julie Nader, Ralph Bohlmann, Marlc Mahoney, Rosemary Walker, <br />Greg Malone <br />Absent: Don Rerko <br />Staff: Planning & Development Director Kiinberly Wenger, Assistant Law Director Bryan <br />O'Malley, City Engineer Petro DiFranco, 'Clerlc of Commissions Donna Rote <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Ms. 1Vleredith moved, seconded by Ms. Walker to approve the Planning & Design <br />Commission minutes of November 14, 2012 which passed 6-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />CMS12-28 Wellinaton Place; 4800 Clague Road <br />Proposal consists splitting portions of parcels PP# 237-21-011, PP# 237-21-012 and PP# 237-21- <br />014 and consolidating them with PP# 237-21-001 creating parcel A-1 as depicted on Wellington <br />property lot split & assembly no. 2 - <br />Ms. Wenger said the proposal consists of splitting off sections of baclc lands of three existing lots <br />which front Mastic Road and consolidating the sections with the existing parcel west of <br />Wellington Place. The resulting parcels meet code requirements for lot area and width, with the <br />exception of two of the three Mastic Road parcels which have existing non-conforming widths <br />less than 80 feet. No changes to the widths are proposed; therefore, no variances are required. <br />Additionally, this lot split and consolidation will eliminate the split zoning of the three Mastic <br />Road parcels. Riclc Meserini for Wellington Place was present. He said at this time there are no <br />plans for the newly acquired land. <br />Ms. Meredith moved, seconded by Mr. Malone to approve CMS12-28 Wellington Place of <br />4800 Clague Road proposed lost split and consolidation consisting of splitting portions of <br />parcels PP# 237-21-011, PP# 237-21-012 and PP# 237-21-014 and consolidating them with <br />PP# 237-21-001 creating parcel A-1 as depicted on Wellington property lot split & <br />assembly no. 2 which passed 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2012- 125 <br />Ms. Wenger said the proposed amendment for indoor firing ranges would make the use conditional <br />in the Industrial District, the district which seemed most compatible with the use and nature of the <br />business. The use did not seem compatible with the types of commercial retail activities occui7ing
