Landmarks Commission members worked with <br />the Olmsted Historical Society and the School Board to secure and maintain the home until the <br />Historical Society has the ability to move the structure to the Frostville Museum. <br />HISTORICAL RECOGNITION <br />The most notable accomplishments of the Landmarks Commission in 2013 were designating <br />two homes as North Olmsted Landmarks. The Commission followed the procedure for <br />landmarking these properties as described in the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances Chapter <br />165.05, which included nomination, research, review and recommendation by the Planning and <br />Design Commission, public hearing with property owner participation, and finally City Council <br />designating the homes through legislation. <br />?
