25747 Butternut Ridge Road: This fully <br />functional home was once a barn. The <br />original home burned down in 1930 and <br />the family needing shelter, moved the <br />barn onto the original foundation and <br />began converting it into an 11 room <br />dwelling. After conversion was complete, <br />the owner who was a horse lover wanted a <br />horse but was unable to as there was no <br />longer a barn on the property. <br />• Host local historian and author Dale Thomas' presentation on Civil WarSoldiers of Greoter <br />Cleveland, Letiers Home to Cuyahoga County, which deals with soldiers from North Olmsted <br />and Fairview Park. <br />• Using the completed survey and OHI forms as a tool, develop a prioritized list of the most <br />historically significant structures in the City, identify potential threats to them, and create a <br />plan for their preservation. <br />• Plan for educational events for both Commission members and the general public. <br />Schedule a field trip to the Parker Ranch. <br />• Improve information available to the public through the Landmarks Commission webpage <br />on the City of North Olmsted website. <br />0 Continue work on the North Olmsted Cemetery Improvement Project.
