? t. <br />LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 11, 2013 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:00pm in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: Paul Schumann, Albert Richner, Jim Morse, Rosemary Walker, David Neville, Tom <br />Dubowski <br />Absent: Don Rerko, Dale Thomas, Maryellen Davis <br />Staff: Director of Planning and Development Kimberly Wenger, Clerk of Commissions <br />Donna Rote <br />COMMISSION ORGANIZATION <br />Mr. Neville moved, seconded by 1VIr. Richner, to appoint Paul Schumann chairman for <br />2013 which passed 6-0 <br />Mr. Dubowski moved, seconded by Mr. Morse, to appoint Dadid Neville vice chairman for <br />2013 which passed 6-0 <br />REVIEW AIVD APP120VAL OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Neville movecl, seconcled by Ms. VValker, to approve the amended January 14, 2013 <br />minutes which passed 6-0. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Designation of Landmarks <br />• 4302 Porter Road <br />Mr. Richner reviewed the report which was updated, printed and distributed to members. The <br />format used follows that of the Biddulph report., Information on the home itself was added <br />which includes detailed site and floor plans. Mr. Schumann noted the details added were very <br />precise. Ms. Wenger suggested the committee meet and finalize the report to ensure it was ready <br />to forward to Planning & Design Commission. Commissioners thought news articles from the <br />house fire should be added and ask the clerk to include them. <br />• 30095 Lorain Road <br />Mr. Morse said the report contains information on both Charles Seltzer and the Seltzer home and <br />includes the essence of why the home should be recognized. The history of the home is not as <br />interesting as the owner. He solicited feedback from commissioners and Mr. Schumann <br />suggested adding pictures and news articles on Mr. Seltzer.
