including more information on Hollywood, such as the actors who may have visited the home. <br />Interestingly, in his research he found that Mr. Seltzer had a pen name which he wrote under as <br />well. Discussion ensued regarding timeframes for having the Seltzer home landmarked as well <br />as possibly national recognition. Due to certain deadlines, it was agreed the Seltzer property <br />would move forward first. <br />Speaker Series Event <br />Mr. Schumann recapped the meeting with Mr. Meixner and asked if they could correlate the <br />Doolittle marker with Mr. Meixner's presentation. Mr. Morse suggested donating a portion of <br />any profits to Mr. Meixner's group. The group discussed whether to combine the event or have a <br />stand-alone event. Mr. Schumann will research possible dates for an event to be held at <br />Frostville in the summer months. <br />Landmark/Historic Trees <br />Mr. Morse noted that a butternut tree was mentioned at the last meeting when discussing the <br />property owned by the school. He questioned if the commission looked at preserving historical <br />trees and whether or not the commission could request the schools incorporate into their <br />landscape plans disease resistant butternut trees. Ms. Walker suggested the city look into <br />providing homeowners butternut trees.
