Ms. Wenger reviewed Chapter 165 of the ordinances which sets the requirements of
land marking a property and the corrunission's role for recommendations as it relates to the master
plan of the city. Recognizing the site contributes to the history and heritage of the city and supports
maintaining existing housing stock in good condition. The Landmarks report details the
significance of the home as well as its original owner, Charles Seltzer, who had a significant impact
on the growth and development of the city.
Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Rerko, that the Planning and Design Commission finds
that designating the property as a North Olmsted landmark would be supported by the City's
master plan, which passed 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business, Mr. Mahoney and Ms. Nader's absences were excused and the meeting
?
,,,
? z
Y41nna Rote, Clerk of Commissions
4
3 i3
Approve
